Last Night Results: Bank $915
Race 1 Six Furlong Claimer (10K)
Mike Mollica trains Sky Searcher who broke his maiden at 40K which is a key maiden race beating Stick To The Plan who was a winner next time out. Sky Searcher drops in class and has tactical speed. He looks like he should take care of this group. Towser might be the speed and his last race he had a horrible break from the rail. A clean break today with speed makes him a contender. Del Mar Truckee had to need his last race and is the long shot that might light up the tote board. Ritzville workouts look like he is ready to run.
1.Sky Searcher
$20 Place on Del Mar Truckee
ROI $76.00+$991 Bank
Race 2 Six Half Furlong Claimer (10K)
Swiss Ski is looking for the hat trick today! He looks fit and ready with Joel R in the irons. U.C. Merced Two ships in from Golden Gate where he won for 12k. If he takes to the cushion track he will get Swiss Sky a run for his money. Gomymojoworkin a horse I like but the drop in class worries me because if he was the same horse that beat 20k class everyone would be running for second place.
Don't Answer has a outside chance to light up the tote board. Don't Answer has speed and will say "Come and catch me if you can."
Race 3 Six Furlong Claimer (40K)
Usurp trained by Ron Ellis is coming off a lay off in December
Beware because his work outs in the morning look like he is cranked up for a big performance today. In his last race he beat Spirit of Cochise and Spirit is in this race today. Marty Jones enters Buck's Bro for a first time tag.
1. Spirit Of Cochise 2.Buck's Bro 3.Usurp
Race 4 One Mile Turf (G2)
Gotten Have Her enters having ran in the Grade 1 Gamely. This distance suits her today and is a contender down the lane. I like Rosey De Megeve would has tactical speed and was beaten by a nose by Turning Top and we know what Turning Top did last week in the Grade 3 Beverly Hills. U R All That I Am has tactical speed please do not just dismiss this Hollendorfer filly. This is a step up in class for this young filly but she looked sharp in her last race. I love the pedigree of Valid Appeal, with speed and distance on the turf.
Exquisite has back class and Don't over look her in this race. Berg Berg is the speed and fits and is a major contender
$20 Place Berg Berg
UPDATE ROI $40+$991=Bank $1031
Race 5 Seven Half Furlong Maiden (25K)
Warren's Wild Thing is the horse I pick two Friday night ago to hit the board going off at 20 to 1 and got a respectable second. If he does not regress he might just surprise the betting public again.
1. Dana Dynamo
Race 6 One Mile Turf O.C A.
Kevlar Kid out of Rock Hard Tens has talent and won his maiden on the main track. But his first time on turf, first time routing and coming off a lay off to win is a difficult task to ask of him. He does have talent.
Killer Bear a 3 year old won May 28th beating Cal-Bred stock. First time facing open company and first time on the turf but I love the way he closed down the lane which suits how to win on the turf. Privilaged fits and has back class and I love the long work out tab by Sadler. Don't Dismiss !
1. Killer Bear 2.Kevlar Kid 3.Privilaged
Race 7 Seven Half Furlong Maiden (25K)
Rockstar Ben shortens up today and has tactical speed with Joel R. taking the call. Ned Page fits and is a major contender. Kim's Leading Man had to need his last race and I expect a better performance from him today. Boston Baked Beans puts on blinkers and if there was a field he could beat this one would be it. A outside chance to light up the tote board at 15 to 1.
1. Rockstar Ben 2. Ned Page 3. Boston Baked Beans
