RACE 1

                                     UPDATE

A 50 G maiden sprint for three year old's and up......Jerry sends out a shipper from England Superboot.......He looks like he is a mid pack closer which play excellent with this type of maiden race. He gets weight off and gets Lasix for the first time.....the red hot bug boy rides.......love the fast five furlongs works he has put together on him.

Baffert trains Bad Behavior who drops first time in for a tag.......The speed looks to be Grand Humor bred to be quick but has been fading down the stretch.

Como Mi Padre trained by Blake Heap is a three year old by Borrego.......He has shown speed in his last race. The switch in jockey's to Bejarano is a major plus.

RACE 2

One mile and a sixteen on the main track is this lowest level claiming race. This race is horrible........Joint Attempt faces a weak lot and is the morning line favorite. The speed is Gray Madam who is stretching out in distance.......She will take them as far as she can go. She is fit and her form is not that bad. My concern is the distance for Gray. ......but I like this one! Teasing Moment stretches out in distance.......blinkers come off.......She gets Paul's main man as a jockey.....Unkept Rendez Vous I have bet before.......She ran or bounce in her last start at a higher claiming level......She drops a peg and is back with friends........I like her to upset this field. I picked Shared Sacrifice in her last race. She is trained by Stein and I rarely pick any of his stable. I was disappointed that I got sucked in but.........the drop in class coupled with the fact that Gryder re-rides her.

RACE 3

A short dash for non winners of two......fillies and mares four years old and up......Nueva Fortuna beat Onebadsharce...who came back and won her maiden race.....She is facing winners for the first time but her win was a key maiden race. She has the ten post and still won. The extra distance should help her chances......Bill spots his horses where they can win.

I was impressed with Fast Moka Too who is trained by Ron Ellis. She gets the garden spot on the outside which will help her press the pace or sit back and stalk the speed.

Brandon's Princess has the closing style that plays well in this speed layden race.....She can sit behind the speed and close turning for home.....I like her last long work at Santa Anita......do not just dismiss her.

RACE 4

One mile on the turf is this claiming race for four year old's and up...Cal Bred N1X.

The speed is Lucky Cotton...come catch him to win this race....Blinker come off.......I like this one.......

Stein has a horse in here that is a contender.....Harness Mentality drops into a claiming race for the first time since he broke his maiden up north.........Harness a son of Distored Humor is well bred.......I expect he will run better in this weak field. 

Warren's Cliff S had a trouble trip in his last race.....against better company then what he faces today. Chew sends out Exclude who is bred to get a mile....He is stretching out and his pedigree suggest that he can go one mile.

RACE 5

A five and a half furlongs at the lowest level maiden claimer for at. I have lost money on Dulcemia before......her first couple of races long long time ago she was a major player.......that was 21 races ago.......but in this field she warrants respect.

Mike sends out Martajean a first time starter...a five year old mare who is the daughter of Tribal Rule with good works at this weak suspect bottom-dweller's.

Tropical Moon is the new face in this crowd.........good pedigree....Chautauqua Creek ships in from back east...switches to the dirt.....good connections.......very good under-rated trainer.

RACE 6

A good betting race is this one mile turf entry level allowance race for fillies and mares. Anniversary Kitty has faced much better...She gets a bad post but she is the class of the race. Martin who won with her in her maiden win knows her well. Sweet Boss has the turf pedigree to make her scary top to bottom. I watch and bet her last spring when she won her maiden race......she gets the acid test on class but she just might climb the class ladder here and win......Let's try to beat the classy Anniversary Kitty with Sweet Boss.....and third we will take Chilada.

RACE 7

The Santa Paula Stakes for three year old fillies is a wide open contentious strong race. 

The daughter of Candy Ride Taste Like Candy is better sprinting.......She sprints today. It looks like Jerry has her smoking in the morning time as Bejarano rides her.

I have bet L T Reckless before as she is quick and you will have to catch her as she gets the rail...she must clear early and quick to win this race.

RACE 8

I like the come-back and the pedigree with Cee's Tizzy Belle who I have bet before. Jones gets them to fire quick and gets them to win after a lay off.
