SATURDAY'S SPOT PLAY'S

RACE 1

A mid level claiming sprint for three year old fillies. On paper Time For Angie takes a huge drop in class from 50 G's to 16's.......why the huge drop is my concern........I like Divine Way who will be right behind the speedy Red Barris......Let's try to beat the huge dropper Time For Angie with Divine Way.

             1. Divine Way
             2. Time For Angie

RACE 5       LAS CIENEGAS STAKE  GRADE 3

Fillies and mares four year old and up all sprinting on the turf going down the hill. I like Sky High Gal as she has won a stakes race before........I love the bullet works and the back class she has... She can stalk the speed or be right up near or on the lead.... Great connection.........Sadler and Bejarano team up. She will need to catch the speed which looks like Biorhythum....She is quick and gets the acid test on class.........catch her to win this race. Peter trains Ciao Bella Luna who has won on this course. She has the class coupled with the turf pedigree to warrant respect in this stakes race.

              1. Sky High Gal
              2. Biorhythum
              3. Ciao Bella Luna

RACE 6

Seven furlongs is this optional claiming for three year old. I was blown away seeing how Top Fortitude won his debut.......He had a ton of traffic problems in that he could not get clear. When he did he smoked the race earning a strong Beyer number.......He comes in fresh after running five months ago.

A ten horse field and a good betting race finally. True Ten sired by Rock Hard Ten can run on any surface.......He won his debut then tried routing.......He is a sprinter not a router....route to sprint angle and I love the works that Cerin has strung together....watch out for this one as he can give the favorite all he can handle.

The X factor is Lolo El Canonero who is trained by Peter Miller.....He makes his US debut after winning down south......good strong pedigree sired by Street Cry out of the mare Danehill............hustling jockey Edwin rides........

         1. Top Fortitude
         2. True Ten
         3. Chelios

RACE 7

A entry level 40 on the hill-side going down the hill on the turf. Intoxicating Move has won over this course.....She is a closer so she will need help to win. I like Callous Effect who is trained by Mike Puype......She has both speed and tactical speed......you can draw a line though her last race as she needed that one. Victor Garcia a under-rated trainer sends out La Casadora.......bred top to bottom for the turf.......no one will bet this one as the morning line will get to be double digits.......Blake Magic will need help as he is a stone cold closer with a touch of back class.

           1. Callous Effect
           2. Intoxicating Move .....the one to beat
           3. Blake Magic

RACE 8            POTRERO GRANDE STAKES GRADE 2

Six and a half sprinting on the main track for four year old's and up.

The speed is the horse shipped in on the rail Mongolian Saturday........I expect the jockeys will try to go with him...... Big Macher I have bet before as a Cal Bred stakes winner who is improving day by day. He exits a key race in the San Carlos......A big time major contender.

Wild Dude is a stakes winner....He has beaten Big Macher before...trained by Jerry he has his main man Bejarano to ride.

            1. Wild Dude

            2. Big Macher
