THURSDAY

RACE 1

The cheapest claiming race at this track offers.......A 8 G sprint for four year old's and up. In handicapping this race it is unknown and suspect and untrustworthy how this bunch of bottom dweller's will run....so take note! You can play or just pass this race if you want to......you might want to stay clear of this one.

The speed looks to have Road Ready and Newfound Gold pressing the pace early. I watch both horses winning........it was a win that took all they had to win......they both were struggling to get to the wire first. Newfound Gold is wheeled back quickly as he ran 11 days ago. He is seven years old but his last two races have been strong.........a second then a win! I expect he will be the betting favorite.

           1. Trucial State
           2. Newfound Gold
           3. Road Ready

.

RACE 2

A tricky distance for Cal Bred special weight maidens running seven furlongs on the main track.

The fillies that have run Courageous Call is the filly to catch......She press ultra fast factions early 21'3 and 44'3. There is no one here that can go with her early........and if they do both might have a pace melt-down.

Dancinginthestreets run her seven race. This seven furlong distance is a perfect set-up for her running style.......She is a late sprinter closer. I like her works after her last race.....Hardy has put three drills in the morning to get her fit and ready to earn her maiden........the drawback is her low odds as the leading rider takes over from Joel Rosario.

Mum sired by Street Boss is not a router going long........seven furlongs is her running style. Richard Mandella trains her......seven furlongs will help her as she is a late type sprinter closer. Mike Smith is a major plus as her jockey.

The scary first time starter is Rutile sired by one of the best sires in the county Medaglia d' Oro out of the mare Set Them Free who gave birth to the Derby winner Giacomo and the Santa Anita derby winner Tiago.

The clocker's like the shipper from Golden Gate Bev's Summer Song who switches surfaces and switches surfaces synthetic to dirt. She gets a five pound weight break as the white red hot bug boy Van Dyke rides her.......He can do no wrong at this meet.

              1. Bev's Summer Song
              2. Courageous Call
              3. Dancinginthestreets

RACE 3

One mile and a quarter is this optional claiming race N1X for four year old's and up.

The pace looks to have Footbridge with Seeking The West press the pace early. Footbridge is stretching out...has tactical speed and sprinter speed in this route race. I expect the factions will be a slow easy tempo then what he has run at. Honduran in his come-back race was flying late grabbing up the dirt finishing strong.......He had a outside post and goes outside to inside today...a major plus without losing any ground like he did in his last start. Cerin takes off the blinkers......and will make him more relaxed with Corey a excellent rider who can kick clear at this distance.....He has a above average turn of foot.

            1. Honduran
            2. Footbridge
            3. Seeking The West

            Long-Shot  Woodman's Luck

.

RACE 4

Six and a half  30 G maiden claiming sprint for three year old fillies........a weak and I say weak modest maiden sprint.

Alice Roadtrain finished second two back in a ten horse field......She might be the speed as she shortens up a half furlong on the outside. She is the filly to catch to win this.  Peter Miller trains and Victor and Miller have a good percentage when teaming up together.

The come-backer Ryleigh Ruler walked out of the gate at Del Mar in her debut. She has excellent pedigree at this level.....and plenty of works to get her ready for this race.

Queen Mad sired by Steven Got Even drops in class and goes from route to a dash. Wild Optimism trained by Miller ships in a horse first time at this track...He has won with a angle like this.......good connections and good pedigree........I love the long six furlongs drills........better then what appears on paper........watch out as we get good odds on her.

                1. Wild Optimism     Bet
                2. Alice Roadtrain
                3. Ryleigh Ruler

                Long-shot Queen Mad

RACE 5

The first turf race on this card running one mile at the claiming price of 32 G's.......this is a wide open contentious grab bag of a mile turf race. So Take note of this.

Spiced Latte is seeking the hat trick as I have bet her in the past.......she is taking a class hike and she is a slight head case. She has not done well when she has faced this class level.

Smart N Dreamy claimed by Jerry makes a good switch to Bejarano........She runs better on the turf then the dirt.....this is the turf. She won at this level and was DQ'ed....she has a second and a third at this level.

Elegant trained by Doug has the inside speed. She has won at this level before running a dull race July 7th.......

          1. Elegant
          2. Smart N Dreamy
          3. Miss American Pie

Pick 4   1,4 with  4,6 with  1,5,7 with  7

.

RACE 6

This just might be the worst race I have seen at this meet....any one can win!

Neurosurgeon drops from facing much better then this group.....do I trust him....NO! but He does have speed. He is sired by Unbridled out of the mare Bertrando........I expect that he will most likely be well bet.

Grey Is Best pulled last race.......good pedigree after facing much better......at 8 to 1 this might be a good value bet. He needed his last start.........above average pedigree by Two Punch...bred to be quick.....

          1. Grey Is Best          Bet
          2. Storm
          3. Neurosurgeon

         Long Shot   Slight Edge

RACE 7

The feature race is this fun turf sprint running down the hill........and optional claiming turf sprint.....March 16 race five runners came out of that race. Tiz A Kiss is fresh with strong drills.......love the works at San Luis Rey....long works by trainer John Sadler.

Mark Of The Gem is making her third start......seems better then then Noise Of The Crowd......

         1. Tiz A Kiss            Bet
         2. Mark Of The Gem
         3. Noise Of The Crowd

         Long shot Tribal Chatter

.

RACE 8

One mile and a sixteenth route maiden claimer at the claiming price of 30 G's.

Code Of Pleasure is a good betting maiden to bet on...trained by David.......Stretching out today......bred to go long and eight to one is a good value play

On Paper Warrensgoldenyears is the one to fear for the win...Jorge a under-rated trainer.

Closet E stretches out and might be the speed of the speed on the front end.

Stenoa run good in his debut getting third......He had a trouble trip breaking slow.

         1. Code Of Pleasure      (bet)
         2. He's A Real Keeper
         3. Warrensgoldenyears

          Long Shot Stenoa
