FRIDAY AT THE GREAT RACE PLACE

BUTTERFLY BEACH

RACE 1

A sprint for Cal Bred two year old fillies for the claiming price of 40 G´s. Ya Wanna Hug trained by Mandella hits a third of the time from maiden special weight to the claiming ranks. I like the fast blow out in the morning time.......gets weight off is also a plus.... looks like a major contender in this sweet spot. The speed might just be Gambling Cowgirl who looks to press a fast pace on the front end...Come Catch her. Totally Blonde the first time starter for Abrams looks like a live filly....like the pedigree coupled with a solid work pattern. Call Me Lucy drops big time for special weight to claiming. Here Comes Bonnie ran respectable at this level in her debut....a player as well. Warren´s Samantha looks very live as a first time starter.... do not dismiss ..look who´s riding...

              1. Ya Wanna Hug
              2. Warren´s Samantha
              3. Totally Blonde

$20  Place and show Warren´s Samantha

Pick Three 3 and 8 with 1,2,7 with 1,2,3,5,6 cost $30

RACE 2

A maiden special weight one mile route for two year olds. The race has some high price talented two year olds.

1. Zackn´mat....should improve big time...ran a excellent debut for Jones...love the jockey..

2. Fed Biz.....ran fourth in his debut....well bred and cost almost a million jacks....expect better in his second start.....Baffert trains and Bejarano re-rides

3. Where´s Henry....Jeff Bonde sends out this Rockport Harbour colt.... Stretches out to two turns with tactical speed under his belt....lot´s to like here....might outrun his odds.

4. Called To Serve.....a high price colt by Alex Afleet.... do not sell short...First time starter with a fast blow out and I love the two seven furlongs work out in the morning time for trainer Hoffman.......beware!

5. Boat Trip.....stretches out to two turns..... last speed figure is a major improvement....lost a heartbreaker at the wire.

6. Janero....Zenyatta connections....team up here.... one race does not make a career.....win early pedigree with solid works under tow. Switches to the dirt for his second race.

7. Insideandoutside....ran on the turf last month at Santa Anita. He flew home to get third in his debut. Check out his fast works after this race........ watch out as Rosario rides this talented two year old.

              1. Insideandoutside
              2. Fed Biz
              3. Zacknmat

Pick Three  2 and 7 with 1,2,3,5,6 with 5

RACE 3

A number of back class tough dudes show up for 20 G´s. A weird suspect race because of the for sell signs....Wall Street Wonder has speed......gets mixed signals because he won at the 32 G level for Baffert and despite that win, he drops to 20 G´s. If his wheels have not come off he is the quickest in this field. Position A has back class and looked good winning a modest field of claimers...... I like the hike up in class. Slam Slew should be right behind the rabbits stalking then if the speed melts down should get a good trip.

                    1. Position A
                    2. Slam Slew
                    3. Lord A

                   Longshot play Maui Mark....
I like this comebacker with double digit odds

$20 Place and show on Maui Mark

RACE 4

A wide open talented contentious field going one mile for two year olds.

Not a race filled with early speed except Castaway who stretches out to two turns today. Candy´s Jewel routed last time out and finish a respectable second behind Sky Kingdom a talented horse. Saturday´s Charm a shipper ran a very good race getting third at Churchill. Cloud Hopper might be the horse to fear as he has been the  second in all of his starts.....beware he comes in fresh..... Grovin Solo drops in class and should run better in this maiden race. Treacherous ran with Candy´s Jewel...... rtan a close up third.....gets a switch to Gomez....

                   1. Groovin Solo
                   2.Castaway
                   3. Saturday´s Charm

$20 across the board on 5 Groovin Solo

RACE 5

Hollendorfer sends out two entries in this optional allowance one mile race. Spirit Seeker who won here two times this fall. She should be able to stalk the speed then turning for home kick it into gear down the lane. You´llalwaysbemine should set the pace with Rosario riding her. Lofty Ambition should press the pace with Rosario´s filly. Transgression broke her maiden as she faces winners for the first time. Her pedigree suggests she will like the stretch out today. Miss Radiance beat Transgession two back... should like the pace here. The X factor longhsot is Glowing Spirit who AC takes off the turf to run on the dirt.... do not just dismiss here!

                    1. Spirit Seeker
                    2. Glowing Spirit

Late Pick Four   8 with 1,6,9,10 with 1,3,8 with 4,9,11

RACE 6

Not much pure speed in this race except maybe Craigmont and Lana´s Smile. Warren´s Patron faces winners for the first time. I like how he looked last time out..... no monsters in this race...take a shot with him.

               1. Warren´s Patron
               2. Cragmont
               3. Lana´s Smile

$20 place and show Cragmont

RACE 7

This just might be the hardest race on today´s card to handicap. The pace looks fast and contested on the front end....sets up for a mid pack closer....

                        1. June Cleaver
                        2. Evelyn´s Dancer
                        3. Assure

RACE 8

Cheezy Breezy should relish the stretch out in distance for David Hofman.........tab the switch to Talamo....He looks to be training solid with a short break.... I like this dude!

Mustache Charlie is the one to beat here.....but the race looks suspect to me.... so Iám siding with other´s.

                 1. Cheezy Breezy
                 2. Mr. Padre
                 3. Flying Marine

$20 place and show Mr Padre
