A maiden 40 starter allowance route race for three yr. olds and up..........O'Neil has two contenders.......Derby Glass who has been knocking at the door and Gunslinger......who should draft right behind the speed...........A Day In The Sun broke his maiden over at Los Al........I was impressed with his running style......player..!!  Bejarano goes to the favorite Derby Glass and does not ride L's Choice.......gets the red hot rider Mario........blinkers on was a key element to him focusing down the lane.......do not dismiss........lot's to like and I expect will get over-looked at the windows.

Gunslinger has been running with better and knocking on the door in starter allowances..........the morning line favorite..........

The pace looks to have Cowtownmary pressing a fast pace........come catch this dude to win...........

Hard to separate the perfect Gloryzapper and Never Ends.......both are fast and talented........Let's put the 2 for 2 Gloryzapper on top.........

Tiz Kissable a head case and a under-achiever.......has the pedigree to be super........needs to get his head straight and be more game down the lane.......like the fact that Bejarano rides him for the first time.......He has back class as he has run some good races with talented Stake company........He can win...........

ANALYSIS'

The pace looks to have Sayes So quickly out of the gate and on the early lead.......

I have bet Ramon's Wildcat.......She needs some racing luck after a number of tough trips with very game fast fields...........Her last race she finished the wire FULL OF RUN.........but lost after she was wide........that race was a highly regarded turf race with tough horses.

STALKER'S

Intoxicating Move is a closer.......the drop in class will help her chances........She has two wins over this track.......Her last start was a prep.........She is a horse for the course and Corey picks Move over Not Too Shiny.

Ramona's Wildcat drops in class.......She should like this small field and company.......She needed freshening up and she has been idle since Sept.............GETS BEJARANO.......Should draft right behind the speed.......She has a above average TURN OF FOOT.

Colerful Bride excellent pedigree and has the right stalking style with a good turn of foot to close on this group.......Trained by Hollendoefer.........hires Garcia to ride........good morning line odds on her.........blueblood turf pedigree.........I think she will outrun her odds...third start after a lay-off.

RACE 4   ROUTE MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT

A classy pedigree route maiden special weight race............Fun to watch and bet these future two year old's. A Field of eight 2 yr. olds where Bob Baffert has three maidens trying to break there Cherry.


   1. Urlacher  .......exits the race with Spirit........ran a good second race.......third behind Spirit........clear by three lenghts of third........good looking two year old colt of Foresty out of the mare AP INdy..........trained by  Eoin..........excellent pedigree gettting mature and improving race by race.


   2. Wise Tale     son of Tale Of The Cat out of the mare Seeking  The Gold.......He exits a key maiden sprint getting third........expect to see him running in the Winter Time........a keeper trained by Michael Machowsky...........


   3. Recalibrating.......son of AP INdy cost 300 G's.........switches to the dirt after three turf races........should like the switch in surfaces......Eric Gulliot takes the hood off......His debut on the turf was impressive......flew home lost a heartbreaker in a large field of ten..............broke from the rail..........finish full of run getting second by three lenghts........do not dismiss if he takes to the dirt s contender with odds.....


   4. Nightly News..........I bet him before.....at Del Mar ten to 1 odds and he lost the race finishing scond......had $20 to place so I made money.......son of Misrembered...........New sire that has produced the filly Indian Blessing and Graded stake winner Roman Threat.


   5. Mineyerownmalone .......debuted at Los Al.........ran last.......one race does not make a career.........son of AP Indy....needs to improve big time to beat this field.


   6. Uninvited   .......interesting Bafferts entry........debut was a prep......bred to run all day long......has the pedigree to outrun his odds.......Beware!


   7. Brunito......20 to 1 morning line...trained by Pendeer....excellent pedigree....son of Tiznow out of the mare Smarty Jones....blue blood pedigree making his fifth start...........outside chance to get third..

   8. Mor Spirit........trained by Bob Baffert......son of Eskendereya........bred for distance can run all day long.........His debut was very impressive.......broke very slow for the rail. He then ran up to the lead dueling with the rabbits........kicked free having the lead........got collared down the lane.......I was impressed with how he looked .....mature colt and promising star maybe.

RACE 5

One mile turf 40 G claiming race field of eight fillies and mares over the grass.


ANALYSIS'    MANY CONTENDERS FEW PRETENDER DEEP FIELD

The pace to me looks fast and very contested early...........might set it up for a sprinter/closer drafting.......then kick clear down the lane......

Speed is the favorite Sweetrayofsunshine...speed of the speed......... Agustina De Aragorn.............Fantastic Mizz.........Zanbo..........Margie's Minute pressing the pace.........looking at the behind of Sweetrayofsunshine.

Trainer Phil d' Amato claimed With A Twist for 25 G's........She has won her last two starts.........the bettors I expect will over look her because of the double jump in class.......25 G to 40 G......Remember, she is in good current form.......so do not just dismiss her because of false class level jump........She switches barns and Kent gets to re-ride her.....I was impressed on how she ran at Del Mar winning by 8.........good signal to have a trainer double jump her in class.......positive sign not a negative one.

Kadesha likes this distance and turf course........She cutback in distance which should help.......Hector Palma claimed her.......her record is 2 wins from six starts at Santa Anita. Her last race she finished fourth going nine  over the furlongs at Del Mar.....claimed in a optional claiming race.

Seven Furlong 16 G claimer for three year olds.


ANALYSIS'

The Pace............In a race void of any sprint speed - no pace in this elongated sprint race......Frat Boy trained by Gus Headley cuts back from a race going one mile and a sixteenth to a seven furlong race where he press the pace early on the front end. Solis re-rides this lightly race gelding.......He has won at this distance and has won over this track........morning line 15 to 1

Kenjiislucky is fast.......sprint speed.......He might press the pace with Frat Boy.........

Classic Gent is the class of the field.........huge for sale sign around his neck dropping from 32 G against older to 16 G claiming against his own age group.

STALKERS/CLOSER

Ain't Misbehain and the comebacker Tiz Jolie should draft right behind the speed and close........Spawr cuts back the distance that Tiz Jolie runs today. He comes back fresh as he finish second in his last start at this level and running one mile.

One mile on the turf for the claiming price of 32 G's for three year olds and up!

ANALYSIS'

John Sadler trains a horse that I have on my watch list.......Mal Verde........good speed numbers when he was three.......His maiden debut was excellent as he won first time out with a strong speed number........pedigree and more mature now he has the pedigree to get a mile........sprint to route and third start after a layoff and the drop in class ........couple with the equipment chance to blinkers is the key to help him win in this race. Morning line is 6 to 1.......hot jockey of late Graham six start three wins for James.

RACE 8

The favorites Seaward Cottage and Kiss My Face on paper look to be the horses to beat......I'am going to try to beat them with Geistreiter and Jazzed

Geistreiter Trained by Tim Yakteen gets them to fire second time out.......He looked better in the replay of the video then what appears in the DRF. He looked strong coming down the lane past the wire.........Not a bad debut at odds of 6 to 1.......love Valdez to ride him back..........

Jazzed first three races and you would think that he would have broken his maiden.......his wheels came off .......Jack Carava put a race into him......prep and I expect today he will run his race.......as Carava put blinkers on him........should be more focus and on the muscle.
