Zorro’s Storm ...................Trainer Jorge Periban trains the Marino Marini colt out of the Restless Con Mare Restless Appeal.........His debut was less then good.........dead last without any excuses........but as I always say One race does not make a career.........bomb as a player here.....He gets the rail.........hard to like.


2.  Annie's  Candy son of Twirling Candy........major blueblood..........won here as I bet this dude in July................ran in the Del Mar Futurity which was won by the super star Nyquist.........He finished 5th of 6 horses that day.  Major trainers trains........Peter Miller......Major contender as he gets class relief.........drops in class.......back with friends......Key elements........likes this track.......class drop........pedigree is super has the right speed style to stalk at six and a half furlongs.



3. Storming Candy.............exits the race with Good For It.........excellent pedigree...son of Candy Ride..........key factors......gets off the rail........puts on blinkers..........has a race under his belt..........stablemate Good For It beat him by 14 lengths.............


4. Toews On Ice.........Arccharch colt has finished third twice....great connection and pedigree...........Baffert owned by Mike Pegram..........out of the D' Wildcat Forest Cat mare......Baffert won this race back in 98..............He has a legitimate contender in this race........



5. Knight of Drama ........I like the pedigree........Big Drama........red hot up and coming sire........check it out....He sends out winners.........Knight is still a maiden but his first two races he has made life hard on him as he gets into trouble at the gate and during the race.......He needs a clean trip coupled with showing us his A Game.........Interesting very live contender but he needs a clean break and trip in this race........I expect major improvement............Key issue which will help him is the added distance....relish to sprint at 6 and a half furlongs.


6. Viviendo El Sueno -  He has a win which is a major deal in this race..........won three months ago.......then faced winners and finished third and fourth.........Jerry Hollendorfer adds the blinkers after looking at his last two sub par races...............But this gelding of Old Topper out of a Petionville mare did enter two stakes races.........I'm Smoking and The Graduation Stakes.........two highly regarded races.......Expect a turn around in Performance.....


7. Gio Mio - I really love how this dude finished the race a month ago........full of run.........so the added distance should help his shot to take down this group.............Art Sherman a sneaky trainer knows how to get this one to win.........I like this one.....second start but was unlucky not to win in his debut.........Watch Out!


8. Good for It .............non winner trained by Cliff Sise,,,,,,,,son of Neko Bay out of the excellent mare Tale Of The Cat......major fact was the fact that he was 14 lengths clear in his second place debut............beaten by a nose by a excellent filly Miss Big Surf...........worked twice since that debut.........should love the added ground.


9. Scatastic .......son of Scat Daddy out of the mare Exchange Rate........excellent blue-blood....Cal Bred Gelding has the most races in this group.......hit the board four out of the times.....


10. Tribal Roar.....If you read my selections you should know that I love this pedigree..........son of Tribal Rule out of the Roar mare Wild Tickle.............Has speed and should be a factor in the early pace..............interesting long shot here!
