LATE PICK FOUR
7,5,2 with 3,6,8 with 1,2,6 with 1 (add 4 if you have the money)
RACE 5
Analysis:
The start of the late pick four a suspect restricted non winner's of three sprinting on the main track. I was impressed with how Fanny Brice smoked non winner's of two for 25 's......my concern is the drop in class.....she will win this or be a also ran. She is the 8 to 5 favorite so let's include her.
Divine Way trained by a excellent trainer Dean takes off the hood. She goes from route races to this sprint race......She has been claimed three times in her last three races........drills look quick and pedigree is above average for this race.
Small Moves trained by Mark has the perfect running style to stalk the speed then when turning home kick clear at the wire.
Spooky Lady trained by West needed her last race ad she was coming back from a year lay-off........like the connection.......
1. Spooky Lady
2. Milady Maid
2. Fanny Brice
RACE 6
A first level allowance race for fillies and mare going one mile and a eighth on the turf......
Analysis:
I was really impressed with how Hijra ran first time in the U. S. She is bred to get this distance and she had strong Beyer speed number for that strong race down the hill.
Nickels Wild a Sky Mesa filly should find this field much easier then her graded races......the drop in class coupled with pure speed and tactical speed so she can stalk the rabbits has a excellent turn of foot down the lane......Her speed number look strong and she is improving....
Marcyjane trained by Marty ran like a short horse her last race.......I like her pedigree and she has been on my watch list......Brice re-rides her.. as I like how she run.....she can close quick and fast........or she can sit back waiting for the speed horses to blow up then fly past the other's to the wire.
1. Marcyjane
2. Nickels Wiold
3. Hijra
RACE 7
A contentious entry level allowance sprint for girls.
Analysis:
I will use three horses in this race.....Miss Radiance and Sagebrush Queen....the Queen goes from route to a sprint....she runs better sprinting then routing.........tab the jockey switch to J. Talamo.....
Miss Radiance must be lucky because she is on the rail.....but the pace sets the race up for her......chill then kick quick turning for home.
Senza Fina a over achiever that people will over look in this race......She is on my watch list and do not dismiss.
1. Miss Radiance
2. Sagebrush Queen
3. Senza Fina
.
RACE 8
A hard race to end the pick four........very hard to single a horse as this is a maiden claiming sprint down the hill.
Analysis:
Tribal Dude was last seen last June.....He looks fit and ready to give his best performance today......
Navarre I bet last time and he should have won this race but had ton's of trouble.
1. Navarre
2. Tribal Dude
The nightcap is a maiden claiming sprint down the hill and qualifies as a grass grab bag; the best advice is to use as many as you can afford to. #4 Tribal Dude, away since last June, has trained well enough to be fit and ready for O’Neill and at this level must be considered the one to beat. He’s actually run pretty well over this course and distance in the past and Trujillo has been impressivel since arriving in California. #3 Red Globe and #1 Navarre ran two-three in a slightly tougher maiden claiming Hillside sprint recently and both represent late threats off their best efforts.
