Nothing in the early races that gets me excited and after Saturday's card with so many short fields I hope Santa Anita and the trainers will do something about the short fields. I can only dream of better times!

Race 1

Maybe the 5th time is the charm for the favorite Silver Luna. Tab the jockey upgrade on Good Acktress might just do the trick for a diploma. Real Rockport fits with the other fillies but has been the classic hanger down the lane.

Race 2

The two top contenders in this low level sprint : Lost Prophet and Forty Dates. Blinkers go on Poetic Riches who might be overlooked here. She just fired a bullet workout so take note.

Race 3

I bet Preferred Behavior in his last race and he ran a dull excuse free bad race. The same can be said of Quietly Waiting a veteran pro with maidens. I like the two maiden special weight droppers  Em Z Em and Balboa Bay!

Race 5

    I like the workouts on You Can Dream. Fast two bullets coming off a lay off. No monsters in this race therefore it's wide open. River Glow and Fairway Road are the top contenders.
