Race 1      Seven Furlongs Maiden Special

Spectacular Sky looks ready to win at a distance that seems ideal for her today. She needs some racing luck having drawn the short straw in getting the rail. She looks on paper the filly to beat. Hard To Resist ran with Sky in her debut.... she looks to improve with a race under her belt. Mitchell and Gomez hook up with a live frist time starter Kilograeme........ she looks live with a win early sire in her pedigree. Paddy G. filly has long works which I like to see in a first time starter......Lunar Lovegal..... check the tote board to see if the barn is betting her today!




Race 2      One Mile Turf Optional

I like the filly Holy Flapper who exits the highly regarded turf race with Malibu Pier. She gets back to the surface that she runs her best races. Holy Flapper trained by Peter Eurton has put together solid drills..... She is my top pick!



Race 3      The Santa Ysabel Stakes

Bob Baffert has the one two punch in this race. May Day Rose and stable mate Plum Pretty seem to have the controlling speed in the Santa Ysabel Stakes today. It looks on paper that May Day Rose will tell this group of three year old fillies "Come Catch Me If You Can." Bluegrass Chatter will be trying to reel in the speed at the final furlong pole. Zazu gave Turbulent Descent all she could handle in the Moccasin. She is the filly that can upset this field........ Beware of Zazu......

Race 4      One Mile Claiming 20K

I was waiting for the trainer to take Warren's Summergold off the turf and back to a surface that gives him a chance to run his race. He broke his maiden win over this track. I expect a big performance Today. Tab him for a win!

Race 5      One Mile Eighth Turf Maiden Special

I see Excelling shooting off to the lead .... Come Catch Him. The top contenders who will try to reel him in ....is Nofty.....Absolutlypositivly......then the horse I fear is Cantona his second race after a lay off with Gomez in the irons.... flying late to win!

Race 6      Six Half Claimer 10K

Nitro Active might hold the ace in this salty tough race with Bad Boy and Proud Cardenal........This pace scenario has Nitro Active out on the front lead relaxing with a easy pace. I expect Proud Cardenal sitting right off this lead. Bad Boy is one tough Bad Boy....... might not have the killer closing kick on this surface...... Fun race to watch!
