FRIDAY AT THE BEACH AT DEL MAR

RACE 5

The lowest level of a claiming race 8 G's on the all weather track sprinting for fillies and mares three year's old and up.

Analysis:

This just might be a suspect race at this level......hard to trust anyone in this cheap claiming sprint.

Goldilocks Planet has been off for four months......Vann Belvoir won two races yesterday as the trainer.......She has never run this low of a claiming race is my only concern. But having said that I like the long drills he has produce in the morning.

Siempre Esperanza has been off more then nine months......She is on my watch list.......trainer gets no respect but he can get them ready to fire fresh.

       1. Siempre Esperanza
       2. Goldilocks Planet
       3. Julio's Gold

LATE PICK FOUR  1,3,4,7 WITH 2,5 WITH 1 WITH 3

COST $4.00

RACE 6

A short dash five furlongs on the turf a allowance optional claimer.

Analysis:

The pace looks fast with Wine Police, Merit Man, Artest, Ankeny Hill and finally Rosengold pressing a fast early pace.

Boat Trip has won at this distance......a stone cold closer that might be passing these horse late at the wire. He won last year not down the hill but at Hollywood at this distance.....the Hollywood Turf Express. Check out his works outs....ultra fast as Pender seems to have him cranked up for this race.

This race might set up for a closer like Pure Tactics or Caracortado a game pro that knows where the wire is........the image of Silky Sullivan.......the early pace is in his favor and I expect Bejarano will have a say in the out come of this race.

         1. Boat Trip
         2. Caracortado.......beware!
         3. Pure Tactics

RACE 7          CTBA

The feature race of tonight is the CTBA 100 G's five and half furlongs for two year old fillies.

Analysis:

A very wide open...remember two year old fillies rarely run two races alike. Lost Bus and Singing Kitty look to be the fillies to beat.......I have watch the maiden wins on both of these fillies and was impressed........impressed with Lost Bus finishing with full of run at this distance.

Jeff Bonde ships in Really a Princess a maiden that was well bet in her debut......She showed speed before getting collared........she is exceptional well bred........sired by Storm Cat out of the mare Lord Carson.......bred for speed. She gets the rail as Joe Talamo rides for Jeff........works indicate that she just might be a talented filly that will get over looked at the betting windows.

       1. Really a Princess
       2. Lost Bus
       3. Singing Kitty

        Long Shot  My Fiona

RACE 8

A Cal Bred one and sixteenth maiden special weight turf race for three year old and up.

Analysis:

Come Catch Smart Journey........second time around two turns will make him difficult to catch if given a easy lead. I would like this one on top if the distance was a mile.....it is not.

Unusally Green looks to run a smasher.......He can set off the pace chillin' then make his move eating up horses down the lane.

         1. Unusally Green
         2. Smart Journey
