The fastest horse is the field is Night Tide. Baffert and Bejarano hook up on this short price favorite. Night Tide first time for a tag and second start after a lay off. The speed looks to be Yes`s It`s Snowing pressing a fast early pace. He comes back fresh with solid works good trainer and a win pedigree. I expect Silver Rate to add speed in this race..... Night Tide and Plenny Of Henny should get a great stalking position as the rabbits go to the early lead.

RACE 3

Every guy in this race has a look to win this turf race....pace will make this race. Gnarly Dude has speed with A Toe By Three who add fuel to this mix. Gnarly Dude a three time winner missed a hearbreaker at the wire. He can win. A Toe By Three posted a huge speed number in his debut. He has not run since October......Miller is good with this type of comebacker....He has been gelded since last start. Gomez adds to his appeal. Marty Jones ships in Malibu Knight....... He has a awesome late turn of kick.....the race sets up for a horse with a late run....He looks scary for the win as Bejarano rides him. Doyouseemecoming needed last race. Sadler horse Rosario as he has put together a good morning drill for his second start......I under-estimated Thinking Of Girls .....He has a look for the win......in a wide open contentious turf sprint.

Mo Cheese hits hard at this cheap level. She gets more seconds then wins to my liking..... a player for the win with this field. She got beat by Ms. Oops who then dropped another class level and could not hit the board as a failed favorite. Still she hits hard with this field. No mortal lock......Mavicsa drops for trainer Steve Miyadi.......she has won over this surface before.....She gets weight off as Flores rides her today..... expect a big performance this afternoon from her. I expect Tribal Beauty to get to her form of last year......Victor rides her.....She can win if she returns to her form of last year. Cassidy drops her to the cellar for the win. This race has the look of a suspect grab bag.....hard to trust these fillies and mares....

RACE 5

A route turf Cal-bred maiden race for fillies and mares.....Carla Gains and Harris Farms.....Harris Farms had two winners on Memorial Day.......they might have one today. Highly Rated debut was down the hill racing seven wide.....She is bred for the distance and has a win early pedigree. Her debut was a strong  good field of maidens. Zambo debut was OK........all at the wire at the same time....She will be well bet in her second start. One of these days Von Nez who made a move that was to quick in her last race will find a field she can beat. Flores re-rides her. Passionville needs some trouble free racing luck...she might be the scary filly if she breaks clean and quick and avoids any traffic problems. I would have hit the late pick four if Sassy And Single won her race......she did not...She had a bad outisde post and never looked like she was into that race..... weird off form for her..... expect better ....today!  Gomez rides Miss Well Molded who is a player from the rail...interesting live longshot is Scientific with Pedroza riding.....do not dismiss..

RACE 6

Take Note non winners of two for the claiming price of 25 G`s. Hout Bay needs to be into the bit early.....no Silky Sullivan racing style......she is the one to beat on class....The problem with this race is that there seems to be little sprint speed for her to make a run at. The only speed seems to be maybe Bonita Montana.......and Moonstruck Maya...... pressing the early front-end. The other`s are mid pack closer`s..... Huntington Harbour a month ago finished second at this level. That race makes her a contender. Both Hout Bay and Moonstruck Maya on paper are the ones to beat...... a interesting upsetter is Thomas Blincoe horse Bonita Montana.....He hikes her up another class level after finishing third in a much needed race.....I like the hike up in class as the public will overlook her at the betting windows......She was a talented filly as a three year old who is now five..... do not throw her out. Warren`s Jazz Walk is a contender at this level.....She should get a good trip from slightly off the pace.

Eight fillies and mares entered in the feature race a turf allowance at one mile and a sixteenth......which includes the Turf Paradise shipper Elvies Lane.......the stretch out horse Miss Radiance..... the front runner Bwana Babe.....Rosehill Drew who is a headcase that has talented.....She should like the added distance as Rosario rides her. The likely favorites Imperialistic Diva and Celestial Kitten.....oh yes and my live longshot importer who finished third in her US debut.....A group 1 winner in Chile.......looks live to me called Plaza De Indias........

RACE 8

James Cassidy Flying Jib switches to the cushion track after running on the turf. Cassidy drops Flying Jib......cuts back from a route to seven furlongs.....Victor re-rides this good looking colt. I expect he will run better at this class level and distance. Mike Pyupe sends out the second time starter Zubqff who take a hike up in class. He was well bet in his debut. Awesome Year has ultra fast works.....Tab the switch to Bejarano......He should be scary second time out.....Lot´s to like here. I liked him as a first time starter.....now second time out......the one to beat. I Feel Free has the most experience of the lot.....He should be around at the wire if the top three contenders mis-step..... Eswan rides him is a major plus on the rail.....
