A small field of five sprinting on the turf. Norm´s Passion has the highest Beyer as a two year old. He is bred to love this surface.....I expect Jeff Bonde has him cranked up with Rosario riding him. He might be the speed of the race....if he transfers his big speed number and the turf pedigree he can win. I expect that he will fire fresh here. The horse that looks to get all the action is Senior Rain......who exits a winning race in the Harry Henson where he would have won if he did not have the traffic trouble. Let´s Get Crackin has run with better. He deserves a long look....a player in a small field. Put It There gets the acid test on class after beating a modest field of first entry level allowances horses...... Full Effect he beat did not run a good race yesterday.....Canuletmedowneasy put it together and broke his maiden......He has talent..... do not just dismiss this maybe rising star.....

RACE 2


Maiden special weight sprint for two year old fillies..... I saw Awesome Annie warm up.......in her debut.....she looks rank .....She should move forward by adding the blinkers.....a half mile fast work after her debut looks sharp..... all systems a go if there is no first time monsters in the field. Divas And Diamonds is bred for speed on the sire side and the dam side. Kathy Walsh is excellent with first time babies.... I expect she will fire right from the start. Jerry´shoneycarol sired by Bluegrass Cat.....looks like a runner to me......fast drills makes her a major player right out of the gate. City District by Carson City and Smoke Glacken is purely bred to run fast..... She is the first time starter that I think will give this field all that they can handle.....outside post not that bad.....

RACE 3



A first entry allowance race sprinting on the main cushion track. The pace looks to have Tocoi Miss winging it early on the lead.......come catch her. Running Isabella should be pressing the pace with Tocoi Miss....My Diane shortens up in distance and should get the good trip with the speed up front. If this is the pace scenario.....then look to My Diane.....Banana Split or the stone cold closer Warren´s Goldie......

Notes.....Pace makes the race....contentious of course.....speed in this race might set up for a closer.

RACE 4

The speed of this turf race looks to be Mandated Bliss...with Me Salty and Street Car pressing the contested pace on the front end. I expect that Aqua Fever who cuts back to a sprint......should love the class relief....If the speed melts down then Aqua Fever should sit right behind the rabbits and kick clear turning for home.....The one to fear if he relaxes and does not pull thoughout the race. Format V looks great winning over town.....if he transfers that last race over at this track....He should get a good pace scenario to run at. Quietly Mine long ago who have crushed this field....maybe lost a step or two....He does get back on turf where he runs much better then on the dirt or cushion track....He has a shot with Go Go taking the call. Street Car is the other horse that you do not want to totally dismiss.....he wins races....He has the speed and tactical speed to make a major impact.

Notes....this race is not clear cut.....looks suspect with a number of horses who might be contenders because of the pace.....pace will make this race.

Add Mandated Bliss to your rolling pick three, five, and four exotics  .....if you like...... Mike Mitchell claimed him for 32 then race a dull race against higher company......shipped back east and ran a dull race.....He has speed.....

RACE 5

The speed looks to be Poppy Field who goes from route to sprint and drops in class for a good trainer Jenny Green who has a small stable... A daughter of Swiss Yolder..... come catch her on the front end.....Heartless Honey looks to press the pace....player in a very weak crowd. Beau Greely hit with a longshot last month when he drop a horse (I think it was Pink Lemon that was dead last in a maiden special weight debut ......That horse paid $50.00 to win....) He does the same move here.....His dad breds the horses and he trains them.....Chocolate Delight by Storm Cat .....I expect will run much better on this surface and at this level...... Dance Thewayyouare cuts back in distance.....She backs with friends....might go favorite at post time.....Pardon My Excess a first time starter has a long look.....check her out during pre race warm up.....or the tote board will tell you more about this one. I expect Secret Genuis to run her race.....my concern was she drifted in last race after she the perfect trip ..... She will have speed to run at......I will add her in my pick three and pick four.

RACE 6

Six entries in this route N1X turf race for fillies and mares..... A weak modest field where each horse has a shot to take this race.....where I expect the pace to be slow.....

Romantic Wish a sprinter who goes long....She is a contender. Sadler and Rosario team up on this import who has not race in five months.....She has won five races over the pond. Last Sting is the horse that finishes...... will be closing turning for home. Triveni goes from dirt to turf where the trainer hits at 50%..... She drops in class.....Babe Included a Broad Bush filly.....bred to run all day long......comes in fresh for Julio Cannai......Blanc takes the call.....blinkers go on......

RACE 7

Blinker and weight off on Trecherous and of course the class drop makes him to one to beat. Guidopanzini comes back from last summer to make a run .......He has run with some talented horses....Miller and Gomez team up......looks dangerous from off the bench...... He drops first time for a tag. The scary pedigree horse kin to Kona Gold is the 20 to 1 longshot Oliver´s Tale......bred for speed.....the trainer is very hot with first time starter´s.....beware...... He might come out running....

The feature race.....one mile on the turf the Fran´s Valentine Stake race. Halo Dolly the beaten favorite in the Bthoughtfull stakes hooked up on the front end before fading to fifth.....I expect softer factions going one mile .......she has a long look for the win.  I think Sugarinthemorning is the horse to beat...... I always liked her..... A small field .......

RACE 9



The bottom level claiming race at the tricky distance of seven furlongs....for a cheap claimer this is a tough salty cast of characters.....very hard race to end the Preakness weekend.......

Devil´s Afleet goes from inside to outside..... cuts back to seven.....should like this distance.....P Val I expect will have him into the bit from the start of the race.....Polly´s Dancer looks to try to run with Devil´s Afleet... Lime Rock Revenge is quick. Vulcan the shipper knows this track...He comes in sharp as Bejarano rides.....good trainer and jockey combo.....Brady Blue Eyes bounce last race..... He has done this in the past.....Expect he might be the one to fear at the wire....
