For a Friday night card it turned out to be wide open in some of the races........I like the favorite or second choices in some......and some longshots in other´s....You can see my longshot pick´s.....In race 1.....of course Night Wind looks like the controlling speed. He should roll..... I want to see how Joy Scott´s horse looks like warming up....



RACE 1

A 50 G maiden claimer sprint.......on paper Night Wind press a fast pace against maiden special weight foes before fading. Sadler and Bejarano team up.....gets the good outside post. He warrants respect for the win..... As you might know I like the pedigree of Roar......American Rising ran a better race then what it appears on paper.....He was game to hang on for third. Bev N Bud might be the one to catch on the front end as he adds blinkers..... His first start in more then a year and half as just a prep race....I expect he will come out running tonight.

Longshot Awesome Year...... the sire hits at 30%....the dam has six winners from six starters including a stake winner..... I really like the works......both trainer and jockey hit a bomb one month ago on a first time starter....

RACE 2



A turf sprint N1X allowance race for fillies and mares. Look the pace will be Love My Way......winging it early on the lead. She is the fastest horse in this field. She has won two of her last four starts.......She switches back to the turf......loses Beajrano but gets weight off as Eswan rides her......Come Catch her is the name of her tune. Bejarano rides the maiden breaker So She Dances.....If the rabbit Love My Way falters down the lane then I expect both So She Dances or Belloma to pass her.....a big if! Candy And Thunder got beat by Love My Way.....but I like her.....Hollywood turf course is a different game then Santa Anita tricky down the hill course.....do not dismiss her from the rail....

RACE 3


One mile and a eighth maiden claimer for 30 G´s on the cushion track......tricky distance for cheap maidens to go. Ron Ellis drops Tap It In......He exits four highly regard much better races then this one.....He should run his race with a comeback race under his belt.....A short price favorite at post time. Rocket Train looks to be his main rival......Great Rising Star might have found a field he can beat......16 is the charm.....Grand Gizmo stretches out in distance...... comes in fresh at big odds.....should like the added distance.....just do not dismiss this gelding.

RACE 4

A turf claimer for 25 G´s at the distance of one mile and a sixteenth. Mike Mitchell claimed Arrivederci Caro for 40 G´s in March. He then brings him back in a lower level......He does this angle and has had success in the past. Tab the switch to Bejarano.....warrants respect for a unhealthy pattern..... Mitchell is hard to bet against first off the claim.......take note.....The pace looks hot and contested with a number of horses pressing the pace...... Pure Storm gave Van Brit all she could handle at this condition last time out....she exits a highly regarded race...... Tab for improvement for a win..... Victor Takes over on Entabeni who should be out on the early pace with Belle Gallantey and Lika.....all pressing the pace..... I like Diamond Duchess trained by Vienna as she was stopped when she sprinted down the hill.......she had a race uner her belt.....now she goes long and looks to me that she will get pace to run at......Good value bet.......I expect she is better then what appears in the daily racing form.

RACE 5

This might jsut be the hardest race on tonight´s card...... the bottom level of maiden claimer´s......Hard to trust this big field. The pace might be Mr. Newton under Chatel Sutherland.... I expect she will send him early to the lead.....hoping to hold on. Sock´s Don´t Match has a bullet workout as Phil Oviedo and Martin Pedroza team up......He has gas and I expect Martin will send this guy was well. Master Rudy is learning how to rate....sit right off the pace then make one final closing kick under the guidance of David Flores.......I expect major improvement tonight. Bike Path has the pedigree to make this Cal Bred scary for the win.....if he transfers how he works in the morning to tonight´s race.....He can win this grab bag. Denny The Great has valid excuses why he has run some bad races in his career......He gets the cat bird seat dropping in class........should move forward from here. I like Sweet Elation..... check out thoses works.......drops from state restricted maiden to the cellar......switches barn to Peter Miller who has his barn at this track......beware" Moreover, He was well bet in his debut........ adds the blinkers with the morning line at 12 to 1 ......Hmm.....

Take note I have played some really longshots in this race........ Pray for some night time racing luck!  Good Luck if you play this.......

RACE 6

A starter allowance race that is contentious and wide open sprinting on the cushion track. Call Me Jones switches to the cushion track after showing speed on turf.....He looks to be the controlling speed in this race.....Bejarano adds to his appeal. Baron Von Red failed as the beating favorite in his last starter allowance......loses Rosario who is back east and gets Talamo....
Call Me Jones might be the controlling speed but the speed of the speed is Lead Blocker...... front runner returns in a race with little fast factions.....come catch him.........He likes this track and with a prep race under the belt Charleen Hunt might get her first win at the meet. Grumphy Small Mouth I bet last time out.....He should improve here and with his tactical speed be right behind both Lead Blocker and Call Me Jones..... for a nice price. If the speed melts down then look to Full Effect turning for home......A interesting longshot Is Easy Going Boykie....has good speed numbers to put him in the hunt.}

RACE 7

A race with little speed except maybe Unstopper Topper who stretches out to two turns. Bejarano should have him on the lead....not a bad place in a race with little speed. Real Conundrum was pressing the pace in the final furlong in the Snow Chief when four runners pass him...... not a bad race as he was stretching out in distance the first time......this drop in class will only help him tonight. Corner Office had traffic problem in the Snow Chief......did not finish full of tun but having said this.....He shortens up in distance.....he might not get the fast hot pace to run at. Woodman´s Luck no win machine..... but I always like this guy.....He should improve here third race after a lay off......beware!

RACE 8

Fiver furlong dash at the claiming price of 8 G´s ends this card. Kintla Journey claimed by the red hot first off the claim guy John Martin.......look who shows up......Talamo...She has both speed and tactical speed...... The speed looks to be Winter Morgan......who just might be hard to collar at this short of a distance.... My Little Morgan goes outside from inside......she fits with this....has a touch of back class......has speed and tactical speed......Cerin .......red hot of late sends out Jacobita......her wheels came off.....she goes back to freshen up..... she has not race in 11 months but I expect this sneaky trainer has her on the muscle.....very interesting live longshot.
