A 25 G restricted claimer race routing for three years olds and up. A field of five! Quail Hill is the speed after his last turf race smoking it on the front end.....Come Catch this guy. It looks like Blake will try to sit right behind Quail Hill.....any mis-step turning for home then Blake looks like the logical choice here. I had Wegner on my watch list......a major under-achiever.....was in the Baffert barn.....switched barns.......If he ran like he looks he could crush this field.......been a herd horse instead. Oskar Hval might wake up running under the lights.

RACE 2

A 20 G claiming route race for fillies and mares. The fillies and mares just beat themselves up......Really Elegant should press the pace......Tripped The Light a deep closer coming off the pace should battle for the win....Tripped needs a pace battle as Gomez got to know her last time out. The new face is Inner Groove who has been facing better......gets the red hot Bejarano to ride her.....Will the real Rockport please show up under the lights is the question with her.

RACE 3

A Cal Bred maiden special weight route race under the lights. Jonny`s Choice might just get loose on the field.....if that is the pace scenario then he will wire the group. Turn On The Pump might make it hard for Jonny`s Choice to get a easy lead...He stretches out after sprinting.......bred for distance. Swift Eagle the horse I have bet in the past.....is a much better horse on the turf.....He`s Back!.....beware......Flying Jib is my longshot pick....... good looking horse that is getting better.

RACE 4

A talented field of five three year old allowance fillies sprinting on the cushion track. Each filly has a shot to win this. The pace looks to have Magical Band on the front end. She smoked a good field of maidens by three lengths....She has two solid drills after that good looking win. Right off her lead looks to have My Selection who cuts back to a sprint after a failed route experiment. She is better at this distance. She warrants respect. Treatherlikealady won over the cushion track. She should get a perfect pace set up for her if she can wear down both Magical Band and My Selection turning for home. The class of the race is Heleonor Rugby who has three wins from last year.....She looks off form this year....but if she runs back to her races last year she can flat out win this race. Twitter Pie posted a big speed number back east ...... good pedigree to step forward and shock this field.....wide open contentious filly sprint race. I expect Magical Band to move forward first time against winners.

RACE 5

A Cal Bred maiden special weight turf sprint for three year olds and up.  The speed looks to be Enduring Promise..... first time on turf with speed. He is taking a slight drop down in class.....Bejarano looks to have him on the lead. He does have turf pedigree. Bringon The Wain should be pressing or slightly stalking Enduring Promise for the early lead. He might be scary turning for home if the speed melts down. The comeback horse to fear turning for home is Borealis Way. He has fresh fresh in his two starts.....a short price favorite to beat maybe. A number of talented first time starters looks very live in this race. First, anytime Gains and Harris Farms sends out a FTS....take a very long look.....Quick Save, a son of Redattore has ultra fast drills.....and look who shows up on this one....Rosario......watch the tote baord for more clues. Priddis Wildcat has very nice morning works...... a bullet blowout for trainer Diodoro...... has a good first time win profit.....watch the tote and if this one gets bet......beware! Look this is a average field of Cal Breds.......so watch out for the First Time Starters....

RACE 6

The bottom ranks of the claiming level.............. Brady Blue Eyes......strike when the iron is hot. He cuts back in distance.....looks very spotted to run a big one. Devoted Magic was the favorite last time out..... Rosario fell off......now the bug boy climbs on.....

The pace looks to be American Wildcat and Fire in the Wind. A short dash to the wire......American Wildcat tells this field come catch me.....he stills has Fire In The Wind to handle early....might just be a tough customer...... I bet Clear To Canada who came from dead last to catch Brady Blue Eyes the last twenty yards..... He does get a ideal pace battle on the front end.....He should be stalking the rabbits....Devoted Magic fits with these......tab the switch to Eswan.....the upsetter who like this track is Rummysecret War who comes back fresh after two months off......He has won half his races at this track....He just might shock this field at double digit odds....

RACE 7

The feature race under the lights. A state restricted one mile and a sixteenth turf race for three year olds and up.

The race looks to have a number of speed types ready to go to the lead. Bejarano with He`s Very Rare looks to set a fast pace. I expect both Kessabtsi and The Unusual One to go with He`s Very Rare...... looking at this many times the race sets up for a mid pack stalking coming slightly off the pace. Husband`s Folly stretching out to two turns should like the added distance....He warrants respect.....A Little Hot Sauce won from off the pace beating a next time out winner Rentless Heat.....I like the talented colt A Toast To You......bred to like this distance.....He runs like he can run all day long.......good odds because he stretches around two turns tonight......I expect Peter Miller has this dude ready to run a smasher.

Five and half dash ends the Friday night card..... it looks like Hidden Quest the speed abd behind him will be Iron Joe T..... both are very hard to separate for the win...... Watch out for Clockers Moment with Steiner ........riding...... comes back fresh!
