A sprint for four year old fillies at the bottom of the claiming ranks. On paper this race lacks any front runners except For You My Heart.....as she goes first off the claim. She defeated older foes and now runs with her own age group.....the short price filly to beat.

 Queenie Marini drops in class and exits a key race where a number of fillies and mares have come out of that race and won.....Girls La Crosse comes in fresh and gets the apprentice Coa to ride.....fits nicely with this group!

RACE 2

A weak field of career maidens going long.....Hard to pick a five year old mare that is 0 for 17 with six seconds and four thirds....but she tops the chart.......as Hoffmans and Rosario team up. Both Key Allegro and Whole Enchilada who adds the blinkers and goes long again....have a shot to win....

Depistry a second time starter.... I like the nice fast blow outs after her debut....Here is what the clockers say about this one...Big galoot of a horse tried hard going the last one quarter while guided some late....B-  Maybe this big galoot might outrun her odds....might not!

Clarity..... weak field of career maidens here!

RACE 3

One mile maiden special weight turf race for four year olds and up. Fordham Road the favorite three out of four times meets a modest field......it´s diploma time at short odds.... Victor rides.

The pace looks to have Lethal Intend  with Unex Dali pressing the pace....Anabaa Premiun looks to stretch out.....bred for distance and with his pedigree should relish the turf....Bejarano re-rides.....major player. Dynamize needed last.....gets Eswan as Puype trains him.....He had a ton of trouble in his comeback race.....look out if the top choice mis-steps. Gunga Galunga stalked then faded midstretch in his debut.....should be more tighter this time around.

RACE 4

Seven furlong optional claimer for 80 G´s. A number of talented colts....Of course, Baffert sends out two here....Brigand and Night Tide....but on paper if Consulado repeats his performance behind Fed Biz.....then this Mike Puype gelding should be a major player here.... He cuts back in distance is a plus.

As I have said ......everything that Baffert sends out lately has been live....Night Tide comes backafter seven months off.... He has trained solid..... ready to fire.... Brigand ran down the hill on turf having trouble....He needed that race....expect better here...

Steve Asmussen sends out Hierro.....clockers like this one....He cuts back to seven furlongs....looks very scary.....Hodge a longshot pick cuts back in distance....He should be pressing the pace early on the front end......interesting longshot!

A number of these colts or geldings are talented....contentious and very competive race.

One mile on the turf for the claiming price of 25 G´s. Van Brit has been the favorite in her last four starts.....she won two out of four of those starts...She wins then bounces....then she wins....

On paper, Cyclometer trained by Bruce Headley speed numbers crush this field....He can win at this Cal-bred NW1X then enter open company at the same level....big numbers and a very short price.


Caffeine High trained by Ellis is the likely rival with Liberal Arts.....Dance With Gambles gets off the turf...He has a look because of his win on the dirt at Fairplex.

On My Honor a longshot here but looks very live cutting back in distance.....He should get a fast pace....He should not be thrown out....

A starter allowance for three year olds on the turf at a distance of one mile.....

The pace looks like Baby Blake.....Danger Ranger with Showmethemoneyjim pressing a early fast pace. Baby Blake goes long as he comes back quick....He should be winging it from gate to wire.....I picked him last race when he ran into the buzz saw....The Black.....come catch him....
