RACE 1

A 25 G claimer of non winners of two starts today´s first race. Not thrilled about anyone here....Kids Table has a bad habit of breaking slowly.... she drops from her money run. Both Swift Beauty and Lady Lohr should press the pace on the front end. Brooklyn Rose should get a good trip from off the pace. Dean Greenman  a very talented trainer gets the nod in this spot. Remember not really thrill with this field but having said this..my pick is...

RACE 2

Bob Baffert sends out Eden´s Moon by Malibu Moon Gaint´s Causeway. She has excellent pedigree and has been training lights out....... need to fear this one as she stretches out to one mile. She is bred to go long.She looks to control the pace from gate to wire.  Conjure The Spirit ran a respectable first time route race breaking slowly to get up for third...Good try....should improve big time with a route race under her belt. She waarants respect here. Music Thunder looks like she will love this distance....do not just dismiss here as she adds the blinkers on for the first time.... As for any first time starters.... the Peppy Rafaela looks very live as she is a daughter out of Bernardini....beware! She might just surprise hitting the board.

RACE 3


A four year old cheap claiming sprint race fits this bill. This race looks very suspect to me and really hard to trust anyone in this race. Judicious if right should smoke this field...but claimed for 32 G´s--- the for sell sign hangs around her neck. For My Heart looked very good winning at 20 G´s  at Santa Anita last October. She should stalk the pace. She too was claimed for a higher price...drops below her claiming price is not a positive signal. Peter Miller sends out Warren´s Flyer who add the blinkers....She looks like in form and ready to rumble.

RACE 4

A wide open race for NIX for fillies and mares at the distance of one mile and a quarter....tricky distance as this race has come up light on speed. Three horses that I have picked to win is in this race.... Jeopardy Lady might be the pacesetter here--- I picked Skinny Genes in the past and she has been a disappointment to me.... The queen of underachiever´s is Rosehill  Drew.

RACE 5

Another wide open race... a 32 G claimer going seven furlongs...... Jerry Fanning adds the blinkers on No Stadium..... He comes in fresh with lightening fast works under his belt.... might just outrun his double digit odds. Red Door Drive has been knocking at this level for some time...time to fish or cut bait. Scofield Barracks looms to one to fear at seven furlongs coupled with the cozy outside post.

RACE 6

This is a very talented deep field in this maiden special weight race on the turf sprinting six and half. The speed looks to be Wish To Opine trained by Baffert. She press the pace at Keeneland and was seven clear of the third place filly. She Spirit Di Su a import looks very dangerous.... Spring Bloom takes a hike up in class to face open company... She had a troubled trip and finish full of run..Do not dismiss her. I like the first time starter Perfecta.....love the pedigree and long works....really like the works....but she might and I say might need a race before unloading here..... a field of very talented fillies and a good betting race.

RACE 7

Another very tough and wide open....race here... I expect Asmussen horse Strasbourg to make a big splash coming in fresh with Corey riding him....tough hard race to pick and focus on.....many contenders and very few pretenders in this field.

RACE 8

The Daytona Stakes Grade 3 with a number of classy game turf horses sprinting on the turf today. A coin flip....Mr. Gruff and Regally Ready and Caracortado who gets a switch in jockeys to Beajarano....gad a horrible trip in the breeders cup .... expect much better here.

RACE 9
 
Tweleve Folds cuts back into a sprint coupled with the fact that she faces Cal Breds not open company----Her race to win or lose. Carla Gaines team up with Rosario and sends out the first time starter Briteness....looks like a runner to me....She also sends out Fabulous Fashion....gets the top two jockeys on this circuit for there debut.... Our Heat a filly by Unusal Heat looks ready to rumble from the start.... Saturday Night Wish had fast excellent works.... watch out for this one!
