| ACCLAMATION BY DAVID MORANT |
RACE 1
Speedy Si Mar´s Dear drops a tad in class while she shortens up to a sprint for the red hot trainer Mitchell. Come catch her in the opener. Ancient Artifact should be right behind the top pick here. If she melts down she just might turn the tables on her. Michailashearlite will try to get back on track..... Good Acktress is better at this distance....she drops to a new career low.
1. Si Mar´s Dear
RACE 2
The son of Tapit Qatar´s Pearl will be a very short price favorite after a horrible trip in his US debut. Both horses that beat him last race are Late Night Sky and My Boy Benjamin. Late Night Sky posted a bullet in the morning. I expect he will show his best today.....warrants respect as a real deal here. Bejarano climbs on who has both speed and tactical speed to place him early in this turf miler. The distance seems ideal for him. My Boy Benjamin beat both top picks....He gets hung out on the outside post. Candy´s Jewel is stretching out....in distance she just might be the true speed in this race.....watch out if she gets a nice easy lead. She was second to Sky Kingdom who enters tomorrow´s Cash Call.
1. Qatar´s Pearl.....diploma time
2. Late Night Sky.....speed
3. My Boy Benjamin
Pedigree stretch out play Candy´s Jewel
RACE 3
A very weak modest field routing in the maiden low rent district. Coin Flip with Geniality and Warren´s Hopeful who finish second and third last time out. Warren´s My Queen has to need last start........Should improve with a race under her belt. Key Allegro takes off the blinkers....this just might be the play here... Look she had to need her last start after a long lay off....she takes off the blinkers and I like this jockey....Berrios....and Jorge has been ice cold....but he is a good trainer who has been cold this year. Check out her last two works....she just might be improving.
1. Geniality
2. Warren´s Hopeful
Value Play Key Allegro
Pick three 3 with 1 and 7 with 4,8,11 and 12
RACE 4
A race at one mile on the turf for the claiming price of 40 G´s......Rosario´s horse Inquistive Son looks to be the scary horse to beat. I picked Es Luna on my blog at odds of twenty eight to one. He faces winners for the first time couplied with the switch in distance and surfaces makes him a stretch in the betting...but having said this... I still like him because of his pedigree and style of racing......it´s a plus that he will be 30 to 1 in this spot.
Longshot pedigree play Es Luna
RACE 5
Spirit Rules finish second in his debut.....looks to be the horse to beat for Paul Aquirre....a sneaky trainer......
1. Spirit Rules
2. Corner Office
3. Indicator
First time starter that looks like a runner
A. Real Conundrum
Pick Four 4,9, 12 with 3,4,7 with 1,6,7 with 1 and 3
RACE 6
A trainer who rarely wins sends out Quiet Advice....a horse that fits in this suspect race at one mile on the turf. Cosset, the shipper looks like the one to fear with Glorifed and Charm The Crowd....... these are the top three picks.
1. Glorified
2. Cosset
3. Charm The Crowd
Longshot play Quiet Advice
RACE 7
Teroda a talented filly that has been off since March.....Her one win came at this track..... solid works for her comebacker today. Bejarano jumps on Screaming Regal who has been freshen up after two bad races back to back. I expect she is ready to fire with Bejarano in the irons. There Is No Limit ran second behind the classy horse Cayanna.....no disgrace with that finish. Blue Tambourine seeks the hat trick....she gets the acid test on class but a number of these horses are comebackers and horses on the downswing in form.
The longshot Gracias Mil...... a horse that won by 11 lengths in Brazil.....then came back off a six month lay off and ran in her UC debut at Hollywood. She got the dreaded rail that day shows speed before fading..... I expect she is more talented then what appears on past performance.
1. Screaming Regal
Longshot value pedigree play Gracias Mil
RACE 8
Same old faces at Hollywood in the low rent district claiming race......Rosario looks to get another Jockey title.... he takes the dropper High Success trained by Mulhill........The pace sceanrio void of any speed here. Blame The Jockey will try the same move as last race....press the pace... I expect maybe Devil´s Afleet........ the jockey and trainer are stone cold in the win column.... Santiago needs to get back in the groove....He fits as a contender here. Coal Region Kid has speed and tactical speed as we saw in his last win....from off the pace to win. Clear To Canada drops again...hard to say what happen in his last start.... dull race........The nine year old Skippy Due looked good winning from off the pace.... solid contender and warrants respect with 14 wins under his belt.
1. Coal Region Kid
2. Nitro Active
3. High Success
Longshot Clear To Canada
