FRIDAY NIGHT HOLLYWOOD

RACE 1

The final night racing at Hollywood for the season. The race lacks any speed up front. Miss Bold Topper looks to press the pace up front. She should move forward with a race under her belt after eight months off. The trainer is ice cold! Nana Beach a maiden pro might just have found a field that she can break her cherry with. She should get a good trip turning for home. Smokey Lake needs some racing luck after two trouble trips. She gets a good outside post to take this weak 20 G maiden race. Dancehall Diva has a shot here as a first time starter with win early pedigree and solid works......

              1. Nana Beach
              2. Miss Bold Topper
              3. Dancehill Diva

RACE 2

I picked Portolio last time out to win. She did not! Victor shows up for Sam.....which tells me that this horse is very live......both trainer and jockey are hot when they team up. The pace looks to be Benecia pressing early with Pedroza riding her. Takethemoneyandrun looks to be the horse to beat in the second race. Girlfrom La Cross has enough speed to make her a contender.

              1. Portolio
              2. Takethemoneyandrun
              3- Benecia

Pick 4     3,7,8 with 2,5 with 5,7 with 4 cost $6.00

RACE 3

A turf sprint for maiden special weight fits the bill with a number of talented colts and geldings. Global Domination ran into a buzz saw.... Fast Bullet.... ran a respectable debut getting second. High Test trained by Mike Puype is solid with second time starters..... He had traffic problems then was steadied and almost won..... It was a highly regarded race. He is bred to like the turf and will be supported att he windows today. A first time starter both Vadal and St. Sincere look like to me. Vader is related to Cambiocorsa and California Flag.....beware!

            1. High Test
            2. Global Domination
            3. Just Meter

           Pedigree Play Vader

RACE 4

It looks like ........no  speed in this 32 G claimer sprint race. Valley News and Mizzen Donald look to press the pace. The blinkers were a horrible experiment on Mizzen Donald.....takes this off tonight. Tribal Beauty I have bet in the past.....Tribal should get a perfect trip if the top two contenders give it up. Big Tsimmis has been facing much better company then these. Mama Jaka....I had her at Fairplex.....she has been rested up .......... looked very good this summer... Good odds while she steps up in class....... no real monsters in this field.

             1. Mama Jaka
             2. Valley News
             3. Mizzen Donald
             4. Big Tsimmis

RACE 5

A tricky distance of a mile and a quarter on the turf for this optional claiming allowance........... Celestial Kitten has the class but I thought Skinny Genes looked awesome winning last time out. She gets the acid test in class as she has not faced older and classier....but having said this she is one big filly and should love the added distance.....look who stays with her....Bejarano. The`pace looks soft as Born Lucky might try to steal this race on the front end.

                 1. Skinny Genes
                 2. Celestial Kitten
                 3. Born Lucky

Pick 4   1,3,4 and 6 with 5,6 with 1,2,8 with 2 and 3 cost $24

RACE 6

Russian Bayou drops in class for Mulhall as Chatel rides this all women team who have in the past produced winning efforts. L´Enchanteresse has speed figures that makes her a contender. The same can be said about Siempre Esperanza...... this race has the look of a suspect field going seven panals tonight.... I picked Cookinthisorthat in her last start to hit the board...she did not.... she is a horse for the course at Holywood. I expect a much better performance tonight from her.

Value Play 1. Dance Little Angel

                          2. Russian Bayou...women team up!

RACE 7

A nice feature race tonight with a number of talented and classy horses running in this 60 grander.... The Night Mover stakes included.....the following.....

1. Al Instante.....loves the turf having won all of his seven races on the turf. He does get the acid test with class but if the speed melts down he will get a good trip along the rail.

2. A Jealous Woman....A lightly raced mare that goes from route to sprint. She will be overlooked tonight at the windows....She is not a throw out in this wide open race tonight.

3. Ash Zee............A talented filly facing the guys tonight... she goes from route to sprint.....She was a good filly last year..... She has never won on the turf..... things to like about her..... great odds...

4. Sirocce Strike........A horse I have like in the past....last year he almost beat Amazombie on the turf at this track and distance.... He has the talent but I have been very disappointed with this dude.... He can win if he gets back to how he raced last year.

5. St. Liams Halo..... a shipper that is young and talented after four wins and five seconds out of 11 starts.......... He has never faced this quality of runners.....not out of the realm ....because he does have speed with tactical speed....He gets the acid test on class.

6.  Lt. Hopeful.....claimed by the king of claimers Mike Mitchell. He looks to be the speed here and come catch him to collect.

7. Compari.......is the class of the field.... a grade two winner..... is 5 for 8 on the turf.... He was a ultra red hot horse before going off form.

8. Mr. Gruff.....trained by Ron Ellis who has been cold....but I expect he has this dude cranked up as Rosario his regular rider is up for the challenge. He has won five turf races!

9. Ain´t No Other.....won the Harry Henson stakes  on the turf at the wood.....do not sell short...

             1. Mr. Gruff
             2. A Jealous Woman
             3. Al Instante

RACE 8

A modest field of 20 G maidens... Del Mar Johnny looks to press the pace if Patrick rides tonight.... Rockin Harbor needed his last as I pick this dude at 30 to 1 and he finish dead last.... Look who shows up on him..... Bejarano rides. The 49er first time starter by Roar Stubborn Steak looks like a real live runner in this spot. Ghost Rider fits with these... Praise For Daubi should love the switch to the cushion track.

                 1.   Praise For Daubi.....
                 2.   Ghost Rider....excellent pedigree
                 3.   Stubborn Steaks....by Roar
                 4.   Del Mar Johnny .....speedy dude
