RACE 1


Stoney Fleece.....love the October work-out.....might be ready for a smasher in the first. Tiz Point looks to be the speed and must be respected in this spot.....coin flip...on the turf...pace makes the race.




RACE 2


Peter Miller sends out two live runners.......Miss Ambition and Purple Starduster.....the daughter of Touch Gold gets my vote....Miss Ambition. She can get the lead and finish with the speed bias track the last couple of days at Santa Anita.

RACE 3

A weak field of maidens routing on the turf. On paper the speed looks to be The Grans then California Heat and Swiss Charm and Von Nez.....Coconino looks to run a big race if she moves forward after having trouble last time out.

RACE 4


Depth hung like a cheap suit last time out.....Cheers to Boggie had to need last race. Salty Robbins maybe third time the charm. I expect a horse that might outrun odds is Who U Foolin...... good works and is coming off a layoff. Heavy Handed looks to be the only speed of the race.....speed bais at this track.....

RACE 5

Quite Oasis looks to be fresh and is talented for this downhill tricky turf course. Royal Tiger has been training solid. She had to need her last start.....got some dust off the tiger pointing at this race......lot's to like about the Tiger at 20 to 1 morning line.
My Untamed Heart looks spotted and in form and on the upswing.

RACE 6


Gutshot Straight and Jim's Preacher Man look to press a fast pace. Golden Bounty should get a perfect pace to make a run at the wire....Beware....the pace sets this race up for him. My X factor is the outside horse.... Ribat....a horse if you read my blog daily I have picked in the past. He did not like the polytrack but I expect he will move forward on the dirt. This is one tough race with many contenders and very few pretenders.

RACE 7

This old dude Crossing The Line is one game dude. He ran up north after a long layoff. He is game if his wheels do not come off. I will make a stand against because of his running style. I have always thought that Cardiff Gaint is a under-acheiver.... He drops to a career low here. Sky'squickscore is fast and quick......blinkers go on and the course should suit his running style..... a contender here. Brady's Blue Eyes has the same running style...... tactical speed which you need to have done this course. I like him in this spot.

Late Pick Four

Let's play the late pick four..... the first leg I will use four horses...  4 the old dude then 9,10,11,12...tough race....the second leg I will use Summers at Del Mar then Derrick Do and a solid live horse Jayco Marino..... the feature race I will use three but this race is wide open and the trip makes the race. I will use Great Warrior then Cloud Man and Midnight Interlude......the last leg I like the trainer Dean Pederson who claimed Playing Dirty...... I expect on paper he does not look that great but he did show speed in the debut........Has been training very good in the morning time. The cost of the ticket is $22.50




RACE 8

I have liked Summers At Del Mar in the past. He needed some time off and looks spotted for action in this spot with Bejarano riding..... Derick Do should love the drop in class and this seven furlong distance...He has both speed with tactical speed.... I like Derick Do.

RACE 9

Look this race is wide open....... I think Great Warrior who is getting better day by day...... has a quick turn of foot down the lane. Berrio should get a perfect trip with double digit odds.

 Take Dean Pederson and Mike Smith in the final race with Playing Dirty...........at 12 to 1...
