FRIDAY STRATEGY PLAYS FOR SANITA ANITA

RACE 1

A talented field of two year old maidens going seven furlongs. Baffert sends out second time starter Liaison by Indian Charlie. His debut at the beach showed ability after breaking slowly. He was wide thru-out the race and finish full of run. The pace in this sprint will be Patriotic Lion and the very talented Written Rule who steps up in class to face open company. I have Written Rule on my watch list bc he is a keeper.

RACE 2

Not much speed in this weird entry level starter allowance. The pace looks to be Clever Chloe the maiden breaker at Fairplex Park. Sheskey exits a key maiden race with a number of horses coming back and winning. Phi Beta Heat is the only horse that has won at the special weight level.

Pick Four   spread the second race with All then 2 and 7 then take three horses with 3,6,7 then take the favorite 2 and add the longshot maiden special weight dropper the 8 horse.....cost $36.00 but if we hit we will make a good return of investment if we can pick off some of the favorites in the pick four.


UPDATE.... IF YOU BET MY TICKET WE GOT A LONGSHOT IN THE FINAL LEG OF THE PICK FOUR.

RACE 3

Twitch exits the race with the stakes winning Egg Drop. Twitch adds blinkers for trainer John Sadler. She warrants respect on this drop in class. Do Something has been training excellent as the clockers like her. I expect she should improve big time with a race under her belt. Blinkers on Sudden Ghost. I like the hike up in class.....and will be over-looked at the windows....longshot play.

Pick Three  start the first leg with the favorite Twitch and play Do Something and Sudden Ghost who looked very good out on the track. The second leg I will use three 3,6,and the 7 horse. The final leg the 2 and 8..... cost is $18.00

RACE 4

The speed is Zippin E in this low level route race. Monica CC should get a perfect trip stalking the rabbit. Champagneandlilies had to need her last start at the bullring. I expect at this level she will be tighter and show her best race of the year.

RACE 5

A modest field of maiden claimers Righteous Renee drops in class to sprint on the dirt.


     1.  Babessa....debut she tipped her hand

     2.  Miraculous Baby...exits maiden special by Roar

     3.  Moneytizzy/McDuffie .first time starter.. come-backer


Late Pick Four..... the first leg let's play 2 horses.... Babessa and Miraculous Baby dropping in class after facing much better with a win early pedigree. The second leg I will use three 4,6,8..... third street I will use Joker Face and Italian Channel..... the last leg I will use 3,7,10, and 11 for $24.00....... good luck we will need some racing luck.... first time starter beat us in the sixth!
            





RACE 6


Octogarian drops from allowance level to face much easier company. I like the morning works. Dan Hendricks sends out Coy Princess. She broke her maiden over this track exiting a key maiden race where three horses came back and won. I like the long works on her as Dan can get them to fire fresh off the bench. His main man is up in the irons..... both trainer and jockey have in the past lit up the tote board. Sean S should be doing her fly by down the lane. She fits and warrants respect here.

            3. Sean S....will show up down the lane





RACE 7


A starter allowance on the turf going one mile. Joker Face looms to horse to beat in this spot. Italian Channel should love this surface.......turf and this distance. If Joker Face races a sub-par race..... I like Italian Channel in this spot. Clearance Clarence has back class but slow works...... He warrants respect with the horses he has faced.


        1. Italian Channel....bred for this surface and distance

        2. Joker Face....horse to beat

        3. Clearance Clarence.....back-class with slow works


Daily Double  Joker Face with Italian Channel and last race... use 3,7,10 and 11.....hoping it is not Joker Face and Blue Tambourine...

RACE 8


Blue Tambourine has been off for 15 months........big time drop in class for trainer Bruce Headley. He has done this trick before so watch out. Blinkers go on Pat's Dream a horse I pick last time to run but she was no where with Steiner in the irons. I expect Martin Pedroza will gets her to break quickly from the gate this time around. Big gamble with her and big odds. Duda Ten a head case has been training better on this surface... I expect Duda Ten to run better. Jenny's Turn takes off the blinkers and gets a good outside post position..... I expect she will be much closer to the pace this time around.
