Race 1

A maiden sprint route race at the distance of one mile. Admission exits a good maiden race with tactical speed. He should get his diploma. War Element needs a clean break as he looms large as a major player. Rock Off should be pressing the pace. Come catch him as he stretches out to one mile. Street Rocket gets back on the main track. He should be closing fast. Great Rising Star looked wash out in last start. He has a good workout after last race. I expect much better performance with blinkers on this double digit odds horse.

Race 2

The field looks weak and suspect to me.  Lisa Lulu had speed after being claimed last time out. Come Catch...with Talamo riding her. Hot Citizen and Powerofvoodo fit........ weak field and weak race.... Prytania likes this course but needs a quick turn around on form....!

Race 3

Purple Starduster debut was fast. She was well bet in her debut couplied with the fact that she was claimed first time out. She shortens up to five and half furlongs. Big Girl drops after a respectable finish up north. Peter Miller's Punch Drunk exits a better race and now drops in class. Behavorial exits the best maiden race of this field. She debut with tons of trouble. She now looks spotted after a good last work-out.... She is a major player with win early pedigree to take this race. This short sprint race looks to have the rail horse on the lead. Come Catch her if she breaks cleanly from the rail.

Race 4

Chokecherymary's last race was not that bad after experiencing trouble. Tab the switch to Bejarano. She needs some luck as she is a closer. Hendrick's sends out Frigid Brigit..... has turf pedigree. She should be stalking the speed from the opening start. Flores knows her well. Roxy is the horse to fear down the lane with the other top fillies I have picked.

Race 5

This is a tough race..... First, I expect the field needs to catch Winter Bloosom. She just might wire this field at this short distance. Rosario will take dead aim with Roulette It Roll who loves Del Mar as she is seeking the hat trick. Tuesdays With P goes off the second start after being claimed for 32 G's. Mitchell and Talamo hook up..... deadly connection here. Takethemoneyandrun will pick up the pieces if the field melts down. Congress Woman Ivy has back class as she beat Roulette It Roll in her debut at Golden Gate. I expect this class drop will only help.

Race 6

Gomez and Hess hook up with a shipper from Florida...Myhouseofcourse. He has routed before. Expensive Pens has the pedigree for the distance. He has tactical speed and speed to win this race. A major plus that Patrick re-rides.... warrants respect. He will duke it out with Leavin On A Limo who stretches out. Pens can sit then make his move on the far turn...... Awesome Brady should like the added distance.

The Brubaker lineup:


3. Leroy's Dy..... look good winning..... hard to what horse shows up. He too is a closer.

4. John Johny Jak....Pick this guy last time out with great odds... Today the odds will be low......has both speed and tactical speed to wait or kick clear......

5. Norvsky.....won at Del Mar with a modest field of Cal-Breds... Bejarano stays on this one. He looks solid but I will try to beat this low price horse.

6. Ashtar.........second race in the states... I expect AC has this guy more tuned in today..... has a long look at double digit odds.

7. Buenos Dias....gets too many seconds and thirds.... no win machine with good day to you!

8. Red Sun.....tough dude ....lightly raced.... but always shows up for the race....... Major contender for the win.... has speed and I expect Monterry Jazz to go with him.

9. No Inflation....three races back was a good race behind Fluke.... no fluke to see him hit the board.

10 Monterry Jazz..back in the days of old.......this guy would crush this field... His second race after a long long lay off... I expect a better more tighter performance today.

Race 8

Miss Addy Kiss did not like Hollywood cushion track. She has been freshen up for this race at Del Mar. I expect she will fire her best race for Neil French. Moonlight Alice had to need last race after a year old. She will outrun her double digit odds. Appealing Afaire will be tighter this time around. On paper this race will be bet with the favorite Warren's Swap Fox and maybe Small but Mighty the second favorite.... both look suspect in this low rent district of a race. Both look overbet!
