THURSDAY DEL MAR

RACE 1

A modest group at the condition of N2X routing at one mile. The race lacks any speed. The pace depends on what the jockey do pressing the pace. Price looks great on opening day winning with Talamo in the irons. A slight class hike as he goes for his second win. Price is the only horse that has won at this distance. If Summer Movie can reverse form when he was three he would be very scary for the win. Hyades had to need his last race. He has run races facing much better company. I expect Patrick to press the pace or stalk then put his good turn of foot down at the wire. He can win this. Massone is no win machine but he too has faced much better. This is a wide open field of runners. Do It All takes off the blinkers and he runs fresh off the bench. He too looks live! Do not sell short~~

           1. Do It All
           2. Massone

$20 across the board on Do It All

RACE 2

A short five furlong sprint with speed sprinters signed up. The speed draws the rail Ballistic Sue with P-Val clearing the rail. She is bred for the turf. The outside filly Dazzling Display will press the pace. Follow My Tail is talented as she posted a big speed number in her debut last year. She was well bet and she won first time out. She has turf pedigree couplied with the fact that she might be over-looked by the public. The pace sets up for a closer if the speed melts down. Miss Georgie Girl fits this profile. Gomez takes the call as he could have rode Brown Is Beige. Brown Is Beige has tactical speed if she breaks quickly from the gate. Teddy's Promise should be right behind the rabbits turning for home. The clockers like her morning work-outs. Octogarian two year old speed figures are good. She should love this surface. Beware as Bejarano rides her. Good betting race with many contenders and few pretenders.

        1. Dazzling Display....exits highly regarded race
        2. Miss Georgie Girl
        3. Octogarian

RACE 3

Two year old maiden claimer for 80 G's. The speed looks to be A Toe By Three......Come Catch this dude! His first race he almost beat Night Tide. His second race he press the pace with Creative Cause. He was a vet scratch two weeks ago but has put together a fast work. Bob Baffert sends out the first time starter Buried. He looks live first time out. Tummel drops in for a tag for the first time with a win early pedigree stalking the speed. He warrants respect. The red hot Talamo re-rides J Man. He should move forward big time for Michael M.

              1. A Toe By Three
              2. Tummel
              3. Buried

Pick Three 3,6 with  1,5,9 with 1, 4  cost $12.00 (out)

RACE 4

No pace in this 32G claimer on the turf going one mile. Mitchell claimed Glory Pride ......... red hot right off the claim. He should be placed right on the lead with little pace. Gumption should sit right off the speed. Initial Impression has Rosario which is a big plus. This is a wide open after with many contenders. Wake Me Now will close late. There Is No Limit do not discount this one stretching out to a mile. He is bred for the turf. I expect he might be more talented then what appears on paper.

             1. Gumption
             2. Initial Impression
             3. There Is No Limit

$20 Place and show on Initial Impression

RACE 5

The low rent district of a sprint claimer on the main track. Orback takes off the blinkers........ has been training solid....nice works... Classy Lion looked great two back. He should be presssing the pace. Sir Ed started out with a good looking maiden win. The step up facing winners and won. His last race he was claimed by Spawr.

          1. Classy Lion
          2. Orback
          3. Sir Ed

$20 Place On Orback

RACE 6

A special weight race for two year olds. Pointsoffthebench should improve with a race under his belt. All Ready There should love the added distance as he takes off the blinkers. Mr. Sproles finished second facing maiden claimers. He has excellent pedigree to win early. He should move forward big time. Got Even looks like a runner to me.

           1. Pointsoffthebench
           2. Mr. Sproles
           3. All Ready There

Pick Three  3,4,8 with  2,7,9 with  1,12  cost $18.00

RACE 7

The speed looks to be Scorpion Time pressing the pace. Come Catch this dude.....long distance! Arcodoro should press the pace maybe right behind Scorpion Time. Smith rides Teafatiller who adds the blinkers.... He has run some solid races... I expect a big dance today. Dynamic Host has a slight hint of back-class.

            1. Dynamic Host
            2. Scorpion Time
            3. Teafatiller

RACE 8

A modest field of maidens........ Lovely My Girl has the win early pedigree but draws the rail for her debut. California Roll a first time starter get Bejarano for Mark Glatt. Kvell should be in a perfect trip stalking the horses. She will make her final run turning for home. If the first time starters do not fire then she might be the horse to beat. Evita's Crown another first time starter who's trainer sends them out ready to fire first time out. Talamo rides! I expect Sheeza Great Friend to mow down this field turning for home. The blinkers come off. I like her last two workout for trainer Doug O'Neil.

           1. Sheeza Great Friend
           2. Kvell
           3. Lovely My Girl
