RACE 1

This race lacks speed except Matto Mondo who press a fast quick pace and look great doing it. Mandella wheels Matto Mondo back to seek his second win at Del Mar. At post time he will be the favorite. Muny will press the pace with the top choice. He is seeking the hat trick for Mitchell. He warrants respect for the win. Farley Star has been off form for Mitchell who sends out two horses in this short field. Bejarano rides this dude for the first time. If the pace melts down turning for home at the top of the stretch Farley Star can win this race. I expect he just might love this track. Do not sell short for a win. Golden Mexico is seeking his third straight win in this wide open race on Today's card.

RACE 2

Mama Janka exits a key maiden race where So Tempted who finish second came back and won. A short price favorite in a race where there is a number of solid contenders. Peomiscuoussuances claimed last time out takes a slight hike in class. She will stalk the pace and finish late. Nana Beach figures but needs a clean trip from the rail. Hollywood Affair drops as Patrick re-rides her seeking a proper level for a win. She has the look of a herd horse with no will to pass horses.

RACE 3


On paper the race lacks any speed type sprinters. Sweet Pleasure should move forward big time with a race under her belt. A Candy Ride filly with a win early pedigree. Jane Pickles has caught the eye of the clockers dropping in class after facing much better fillies then theses. She warrants respect for the win. Homework has a troubled trip at Hollywood. She has run races that put her in the mix. Portfolia shortens up in distance and goes outside to inside. The distance should be ideal for her.

RACE 4

A suspect race void of any speed types routing on the main track for non winners of two for the claiming price of 25 G's. It looks like on paper that Duke Of Aspen will try to catch Dancing Joy. He set slow factions in his maiden win. One Nation will stalk the pace as he switches to the main track. The shipper Dr. Hudson looks interesting as he has tactical speed with Chantel riding. He will close from off the pace. Lackluster was claimed last time out.

RACE 5

Cascina stretches out to one mile on the turf. She has turf pedigree which warrants respect to win this maiden race. Made Love To Her stretches out to two turns. She is dropping in class after running in a stakes race. Beware!  I have been waiting for Mia Isabel to run on the turf with her turf pedigree. She looks spotted for action.  As for first time starters Hard To Know has great turf pedigree with solid works.

RACE 6

Swiss Tart had to need his last start coming off a long lay-off. He was on my watch list and I expect this time around he will be tighter and finish the race with run.
