Friday Del Mar

RACE 1

Hard Sun exits a key maiden race where a number of horses have come out of that race and won. She shortens up in distance and should get a perfect trip stalking the speed. She warrants respect for the win. I like what I saw when Bauble Queen won....she finish full of run and was impressive.

   1. Hard Sun
   2. Bauble Queen

RACE 2

JP Jammer is starting to learn to run from off the pace. He will need that tactic.  Warning Song who cuts back in distance has won on the poly-track in England has speed. Mike Mitchell places horses in races that have the ability to win. His first entry level allowance race was quickly won. He warrants respect in this second level allowance race today at short odds. The class of the race is Massone who last was seen last November. He goes to a new barn who put blinkers on him. If he is fit as Rosario rides he can win this race.

          1. Warning Song...top billing
          2. JP Jammer...do not sell short
          3. Massone....scary if fit

RACE 3

I expect Platuim Mine is ready to show her talent as she stretches out to one mile on the turf. Her two races as a three year old was not bad. She tried the cushion track and that experience is over. She drew the rail last time out. She had trouble getting out of the gate in a big ten horse field. Tyler re-rides..... good bet here in this modest field of maidens. She showed speed with Mizdirection in open company......No monsters in this field.

            1. Platuim Mine
            2. California Heat
            3. Jet Blue Girl

RACE 4

The red-hot trainer and jockey combo of Vann Belvoir and Chantel Sutherland team up with the shipper Dre's K. A gelding by Matty G warrants respect. Plus the fact that he seems to be doing good over the poly-track in the morning. Gutshot Straight looked awesome last time out smoking a field of claimers........seeking third straight win and really has never ran a bad race. The clockers like him.

          1. Gutshot Straight
          2. Dre's K

Pick Three 4 with 1,2,4 with  3,5,7,9

RACE 5

Entry level starter allowance.... Private Bounty on paper looks to go thru this condition quickly. Craigmont has been freshen up. If fit he is the scary off....Look he beat both Private Bounty. Moreover, he beat Cadillac Coach who came back and won... I will put Private Bounty on top but do not sell Craigmont short.

            1. Private Bounty
            2. Criagmont
            3. Unusual Jazz

RACE 6

One mile allowance turf race with a wide open field. Renegade Storm exits the race with Lucky P. and Novisky. Mark The Bench looks to be the speed of this field. Royal FJ looks to get the added distance.... He seems to like Del Mar......The pace looks fast with a number of rabbits in the race. If Scorpio Time is fit...he can flat out win this race. Joe Talmo indicates that he thinks Scorpio Time is ready....interesting race here....P-Val has a big shot with his mount.

             1. Renegade Storm
             2. Royal FJ
             3. Scorpio Time
             4. Sammartino

RACE 7

Bourbon Bay is a marathoner......if this race was on turf he would be a very low odds...... Still will be short odds. Poly track....... but has been training up a storm. Setsuko...... will be bet today......distance is my conern. Times Gone By.......Mitchell first time.... off claim.... gets the acid test on class. Dahound is the speed of the race....... Rosario rides.

          1. Bourbon Bay

RACE 8

Hi Card Ranch had a winner with the same jockey trainer angle...... if this one runs like what I expect he will win at good odds.

          1. Gambling Cowgirl
