FRIDAY NIGHT HOLLYWOOD PARK

RACE 1

A N2X optional claiming race around two turns. The pace scenario looks to have Kevlar Kid pressing the pace with Warning Song stalking the Kid. Cigar Man who has won at this condition. He a good turn of foot turning for home. Short field and short prices is the tune of this race.

              1. Warning Song
              2. Kevlar Kid
              3. Cigar Man

RACE 2

Gillian trained by the red hot Mitchell will press the pace. Green Card James is fit after his fly by two weeks ago in a sprint race. He stretches out and has a good turn of foot to make him a instant contender here. Royal Import drops in class with a good post position. He should be stalking the pace. He is a major player for a win.

              1. Royal Import
              2. Green Card James
              3. Gillian

RACE 3

Part Time Luck drops again. The distance of seven and half should be right up her alley. Her main rival is Veillit trained by Jeff Metz and ships in fit and in form after winning two straight.
Led Advantage looks spotted for a big race. This race looks suspect.... will post my pick later in the day.

             1. Led Advantage
             2. Part Time Luck
             3. Veillit

RACE 4

A tough bottom level maiden route race. The speed looks to have My Boy Luke who is stretching out to two turns with All De Victors pressing the pace. My Boy Luke should love the added distance for Hoffman and Rosario. A deadly team who hook up again. Malaga Cove trained by Bob Baffert has routed before. He could'nt get to All De Victors in his last race. He will need to step it up to win. Slews Dark Knight is coming in fresh with the leading rider of the meet. The upsetter is the team of Robert Troeger and Patrick Valenzuela on Enterprise Zone with a sweet morning line of 20 to 1. He is training solid with some fast long works under his belt. Do not sell this dude short in this low rent district of a race.

           1. Enterprise Zone....live trainer with P-Val
           2. My Boy Luke...... the favorite at post time
           3. All De Victors.....speed with experience

RACE 5

A weird race to handicap. Mark The Bench might try to steal this one mile turf race. Tribal Nation should stalk the pace behind Mark The Bench. Teafatiller with a better ride will be near the lead or right off the speed. He warrants respect. Galleta Monstruo never got to Warning Song in his last race. He should be nearer to the pace this race. The betting favorite at post time is the classic hanger Tamarack Smarty who has been freshen up. If there is a calvary charge at the wire he is the horse to fear. This race has the look of a calvary charge at the wire.

Robbie's War broke his maiden in a three way finish last time out.  A son of War Chant who has the excellent turf pedigree to step up facing winner's for the first time and make a big splash in the winner's circle.

             1. Robbie's War....coming back solid
             2. Tribal Nation....no throw out
             3. Tamarack Smarty..... favorite at post time

RACE 6

Bob Baffert has the one two punch in this maiden special weight sprint race. Dubber and Indian Knight. In Dubber's debut he ran into Wilburn. His second start he had a somewhat troubled trip pressing the pace. He has been freshen up and gets the rail where he must clear to win.

Channel Surf exits two highly regarded maiden races at Del Mar last summer. The deadly Eoin Harty and Bejarano show team up here. He has been working fast for his comeback race. He warrants respect.

This is not a three horse race and there is some quality first time starters. Frenzo by Relaunch is trained by one of the good guys Ascanio who hires Rosario to ride. He has been stringing together some nice long drill last month for his debut. Usually Relaunch babies needs a race but he looks very live first time out.

Crown Royalty trained by Hofmans is a son of Bluegrass Cat. He is bred to win early and bred for speed. Do not sell him short in his debut. A fun race to watch and bet.

         1. Dubber
         2. Channel Surf
         3. Crown Royalty/Frenzo

RACE 7             Tsunami Stakes

Bob Baffert's Midnight Interlude drops in class after running in the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. He tries the turf for the first time couplied with a new rider Bejarano. He will be bet at a short price. The old adage goes do not bet a favorite when he is trying something new.

Temple Door a horse I have picked on top in his first two career starts looked awesome in both of his races. He was facing older horse in his last allowance victory. I think he is the horse to beat here.

The two other horses I like are War Pilot who is seeking his third straight victory. He is getting better race by race. He warrants respect with the morning line of a sweet 20 to 1. Rosario climbs aboard Moment Of Weakness. He has been freshen up after two good looking races in the Eddie Logan and the Generous Stakes last year. He is trained by Lloyd who can flat out get them to fire first time out off a five month lay-off. He will need is A game because Temple Door and War Pilot with Midnight Interlude are fit and in form.

             1. Temple Door
             2. War Pilot
             3. Moment Of Weakness
             4. Midnight Interlude

RACE 8

The speed looks to be Bryan Daniel who stretches out to six and half furlongs tonight. He drops in class and adds the blinkers. He should be the one to catch here. Quietly Waiting should sit chillin' off the pace with the deep closer Clocker Moment. There looks to be two first time starters.... one on the rail and the other on the outside that looks live. Nutmeg Ned has the win early pedigree. He is trained by Gallagher and Talmo rides. His last three works are long that I like. Crispy Cory is the professional maiden. Rosario re-rides this favorite again which makes him deadly. Do not quit your day job with CC. Unusual Jazz a first time starter looks very live in this spot. He is bred for speed and to fire big time right out of the blocks.

                  1. Unusal Jazz
                  2. Bryan Daniel
                  3. Crispy Cory
