Race 1         Six Furlongs Maiden 40K

Warren's Rose trained by Doug O'Neil has JR riding tonight. She shortens up after a route race which she blazed a fast quarter and half mile factions. She has had three weeks off and will be the logical choice. She will be the speed pressing her front running style. Phi Beta Hear trained by Barry Abrams will sit right off the pace with Rose and try to reel her in at the wire.

Abovetheinfluence has speed and never discount a filly by Benchmark. She regress her last start because of a slow and I mean slow start at the gate. A slight improvement puts her into the mix. Remember she ran against maiden special company and with Bejarano staying put tells me that this is a positive sign therefore she is a major player!

Kiss My Swiss trained by Peter Miller gets the deadly trainer and jockey duo that has a high winning percentage at this track. She has great pedigree and her early style helps her chances tonight for a minor award.

The first time starter looks and acts like she is live first time out. Meadow Mt Layla trained by the guy who can get babies to fire first time out. The bug boy gets a weigh break tonight, She has long six furlongs drills which I love.

Race 2         Six Furlongs Claimer 16K

I picked Marino's Promise her last race. She ran a winning race but my concern was the seven furlong distance. She shortens up to six furlongs tonight which is ideal for her. This field is void of any speed types except Pay For Play. Most of these horses are plodders types!

One of her main rivals I think is Frequent Fame who loves the distance and this track She trained by Polanco and Bejarano takes the call. He will try to reel in the top choice Marino's Promise..The Western Fame filly has a kicker closing kick and if Marino's Promise does the classic bounce then beware of Frequent Fame to close on this field.

Beware of the filly who is stepping up in class I love horses hiking up at this level because the public will overlook her at the betting windows tonight, Our Bellini Bikini has hit the board in 10 out of 13 times.

The horse that I like is the filly with back class and is starting her third race after a lay off. Pay For Play with JR in the irons has speed and that she a asset in this race.

Race 3         Six Furlongs Maiden 25K

I like three horses in this field............ Battling Atticcus who ran a better race then it looked like paper. He had a nightmare trip and was caught outside in the parking lot. He finished full  of run and I picked this horse his last race. The speed of this race is  Forward Commitment and if he can get slow factions on the front end he just might be long gone. "Come Catch Me If You Can".

My pick is the first time starter Lead Blocker who just has a limited barn with live starters. In the past I have collected big payoffs by this trainer.... Mark Tsagalakis..... do not dismiss this horse.  No monsters in this field tonight.

Race 4         One Mile Turf Allowance

On paper Tiz A Bud Girl looks like the choice if she can get a clean trip from behind. That is her running style.
If Led Advantage gets a clean break and Corey will send her then in the past she has showed speed in a race that has little speed. He can win this race! The rabbit in this race is L'Enchanteresse and if no other horse goes with her she just might be gone!  Ruby Lane looks like a hanger to me but she fit for a minor award!

Race 5         Five Furlongs Maiden 32K

I like the first time starter  Nascent by a cagey trainer Cliff Side by the Sired of Benchmark. The other first time starter that I like is Lily Amore by the sire of In Excess a win early sire and has a blow out in a half mile.

Race 6         Six Furlong Turf

A wide open betting race and many contenders and few pretenders in this turf sprint. The choice on paper is the front running horse Sassou. He is dropping after running in open company and might be the controlling speed from gate to wire!. Beware of this scary dude. A main rival is Dapper Dan who needs to reel in the top choice tonight. A classic bounce might happen with Sassou and Dapper Dan might just get out run by Beyond Loaded........ A interesting horse that I have followed is Yes It's A Cat. This is his third race coming off a lay off. He is a better turf horse then a horse on the main track. This race looks to good to be true.... so I will think outside the box and use this horse in my picks.

Race 7         Life Is Sweet One Mile Sixteenth

A race with one speed horse.............. Ellafitz might be long gone tonight..............Her workouts are solid.
ELLAFITZ can lead wire to wire in this overnight stakes around two turns. Only five entered; ELLAFITZ is the lone speed. It Tiz has been somewhat of a disappointment but with this group if he can reel in the speed and out dual Washington Bridge who has the back class to win this outright. She is a talented young three year old filly who is getting more mature day by day. She has the rail to save ground and JR will shake her up down the lane.

Race 8         Six Furlongs Maiden 25K

Victory With Honor drops from maiden special and I usually do not like a drop like this but having said this  he looks live. Five A Day has speed and is coming back after a long lay off since December.  Cynical Wager tab the jockey switch. He has speed and was unlucky to get run down near the deep stretch, My main concern is the trainer who has been ice cold!  Check out Johnny's Gold trained by AC with Pedro Armambula in the irons. He has been off since June at Hollywood. He has faced better then this suspect crowd. I love the long six furlong work outs for his come back race. His both of his races he was well back by the bettors so Beware tonight . He just has the great outside post to reel in the speed at the wire. This is my pick!
