RACE 5

A 40 G claiming turf race for fillies and mare's and up!

ANALYSIS"

A good betting race with contender's and very few pretender's. Miss Ellany pressed the pace against much better foes at Del Mar and got burned up.............speed of the speed and she just might not get caught if no one goes with her and she can relax and chill before the turn to the top of the lane where the true racing begins.

Fantastic Mizz has run with classy horses before.........She should draft right behind the speed and she has a good turn of foot........One mile is ideal for her......it's where she runs her best races.

Kadaya trained by Hess Jr. This seven year old is lightly races but when she came state side she won two straight races at a higher level.......that was 2012 and she ran a prep race in November to get her tighter .............that race was a Grade 1 race so she had many excuses........Red Hot trainer and Jockey combo team up.........She warrants respect and is a major contender.

Hess has a sneaky scary horse ridden by Alex Solis who won his 5,000 win last week.........Love Blind has the pedigree and back class coupled with strong speed figures to make her a very live long-shot that can win this race.

            1. Love Blind
            2. Kadaya
            3. Miss Ellany

PICK 4

RACE 6

One mile and sixteenth non winners of three at the claiming price of 16 G's open for four year olds and up!

ANALYSIS:

The speed looks to plenty.......Congretationlist......the speed of the speed.......American Act........Mistaken Idenity and Life's A Riley looks to be pressing a early lead trying to catch Congretationlist..........catch this this guy to win this untrustworthy non winners of three.

Take A Risk exits a fairly good race last month a won a race non winners of two.......He kicked it in overdrive from off the pace..........nice lookin' win.........the hike against better in this race will be overlooked at the windows........ Gus and Stra is a solid trainer and jockey combo.

Mistaken Identity exits strong starter-allowance races........my concern is the surface he has run better on turf or synth........but he has been training light outs on the dirt.

Dreamy Kid won the Swaps in 2011........he has been a underachiever to date so he has switched barns to Hess Jr. who adds the blinkers and put together a ultra sharp four furlong drill.

Caramuru won at Los Al.......he is in form and fit and beat a lesser foe there. But He has won pressing the pace in the past........He has tactical speed.......the lead or sit chilling and stalk the rabbits before they burn themselves up if they do! Victor has options.......

           1.  Caramuru
           2.  Take A Risk
           3.  Congertationlist

           Long Shot    American Act

RACE 7

One mile on the turf is this optional claiming race open up for Cal Bred four year old and up!

ANALYSIS:

A modest cheap optional claimer which is state restricted .......

Jonny's Choice will get speed to run at. He is a above average turn of foot when the true racing begins down the lane. The question is one of fitness but I Like the six furlongs morning works that trainer Warren Donald has strung together in him........love to see these works.......all systems look like a go.......He will not be the favorite so I hope the odds go higher.......He has faced and won against better foes.......He does not need the lead......He can stalk the speed then kick it into over-drive.

Synnin has been on my watch list...........as I expect he can climb the class ladder as he has the right running style to close if the speed melts-down.......need to collar the speed at this distance! One mile is within his best distance!

Lucky Views do not dismiss here......Michael Machowsky is hot with horses coming back after a lay off..........going a mile on the turf........perfect conditions because this is this race! Both mile turf comebackers where without blinkers on. He exits a stake race where he finished in front of a horse that won three times in a Graded Stake race and his recent third was on this course and he finish third in a Grade 2 turf race......He warrants respect and I expect that he will get over looked at the betting windows today!

Luckybox Sam is the speed of the speed and should be out on the front winging........but if you look at his past races he was on the lead and folded like a cheap Chinese suit........but if he gets no pressure early he might get brave turning for home where the real racing begins!

Gab Power I know him well.......He is a game horse for being seven year old. He ran in Chicago in races not as strong as this one and won with good Beyer speed figures........if he does not do the classic bounce he can be dangerous. He is a late closer that can mow this field down as Corey knows how to put his horse in a good outside position and not get into traffic problems.

It's weird that Richard Baltas has been cold at this meet........excellent trainer who trains the rail horse Lucky J Jane with one of the leading rider's taking the call! He should save ground and I expect when the true racing begins Bejarano will put him in a rail skimming trip as he tracks and stalks the speed.

Turn On The Pumps dead heated with Lucky J Jane at the beach at Del Mar......Trained by Gaines and ridden by Espinoza..........hot combo as a team having 2 wins out of 4 starts at this meet.

            1. Turn On The Pumps
            2. Lucky Views
            3. Jonny's Choice

           Live Long Shot  Synnin

RACE 8

A high price 75 G maiden three year old claiming sprint ends the five day card ending on Luther Day morning afternoon.

ANALYSIS"

Marty Jones is fuckin' good with second time starter's..........He enters Bentley's Gone who is sired by a Kentucky Derby winner Medaglia d' Oro.......after debuting last month at Los Alamitos he ran a public outing pressing the pace before fading into the sunset. He was well bet because Gary Stevens rode him.........I expect Jones had his prep and now he takes off the blinkers for his second start.............blue-blood pedigree with strong works as Marty works them sow in the morning time......Tab the fact that Steven's thinks that his horse this is better then what it appears on paper.

Thomas Proctor enter's Ususually Big........sired by a turf Daddy and after watching his debut.....this race was better then what appears on the video. Tom's main man Drayden gets the five pounds off..........expect a strong contender in this spot!

Pocket Ball has two seconds running with a big field. Adam Kitchenman debut this dude in a high price maiden race at the beach........then after that excellent debut he hiked him up in a maiden special weight race at Los Alamitos finishing second with flashes of run after the wire.........Martin is one of the best jockeys in maiden races getting them out fast and then putting them in a good position to win maiden races. Speed is dangerous in races like this.......beware.........He should break his cherry soon if not today!

Screaming Tab a highly regarded blue-blood by Tapit out of the mare Lemon Drop Kid lands the garden spot on the outside.........He has a spot that he cannot get into trouble. Trained by a trainer that gets them ready to fire in there debut........He has strung together nice long works which I love to see in first time starters.......He looks scary and ready to run being over-look at the betting windows. Take note the breeders is Southern Equine Stables who sold Screaming  in this maidenTap for 300 G's as a yearly..........scary!

PACE    Matty's Tribal has speed and I expect he will go with Pocket Ball.....if they burn themselves to the ground then look to Matty's Tribal or Screaming Tab.

               1.  Matty's Tribal
               2.  Pocket Ball
               3.  Screaming Tab

               Live shot  Ususually Big
