I WILL START POSTING MY BETS AND GIVE YOU MY RETURN ON INVESTMENT THAT DAY. I WILL START WITH $100.00. THE NEXT DAY I WILL POST HOW I DID THE PREVIOUS DAY...........THIS WILL SHOW YOU IF I AM A IDIOT OR A GENIUS WHEN IT COMES TO HANDICAPPING SANTA ANITA PARK.
MONEY MANAGEMENT AND PATIENCE IS THE KEY TO GETTING VALUE ON A BET......I DO NOT BET EVERY RACE AND SOME DAYS I PASS..........SOME OF MY BETS ARE PLACE BETS AND I RARELY PLAY THE PICK SIX.........I WILL POST PICK SIX'S BUT AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE I RARELY PLAY THIS BET!
GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND ME AND WE WILL NEED SOME LUCK FROM THE RACING GOD'S. HAVE FUN AND YOU CAN JUST WATCH THE RACES........I WRITE MY HORSES TO WATCH COUPLED WITH WRITING MY TRIP NOTES AFTER EACH RACE........... WHEN I SEE HORSES GETTING INTO TRAFFIC TROUBLE OR HORSES FINISHING WITH ENERGY FULL OF RUN BUT HAD TROUBLE AND DID NOT WIN.....

RACE 5
One mile 50 G claiming turf race for four year old and up!
ANALYSIS"
This field has all contenders and no pretenders in other words every horse has a legitimate shot to win this race.......they is speed types and sprint late runners and Silky Sullivan closers in this contentious wide open affair.........no horse will shock me if he takes down this field!
I have had Somethings Unusual on my watch list........He is better with added distance then a pure sprinter going six and a half furlongs.........He is trained by Donald Warren
He has three speeder's to deal with.......Avare......pure speed pressing the pace........Horizontalyspeakin..........one way to go.........to the early lead.......and Los Bombinos who will try to get good position because he is on the outside post.......I expect speed from him today..........Somethings Unusual has speed to run at.......that is what he needs.......speed so he can sit chillin and stalking the early front runners.
Lime Rickey is a class horse that ran like a short horse coming back after a long lay off. Bill Spawr put a prep race under his belt........He has won 2 races out of four at this distance........
1. Somethings Unusual (third) $20 PLACE AND SHOW
2. Lime Ricky
3. Tigah (won)

On paper, Crucero jumps off the page as the one to beat in this short field maiden route race.......The drawback is the stat's that trainer Sadler is ice cold when he sends out horses that have been layoff.......He has not won yet with this condition.......He is 0 for 44......wow!
But the fact remains he switches back to the surface that he likes the dirt and out of nine starts he has four seconds and three thirds......that is excellent in this short modest maiden field. It is now or never will he find a field like this!
I expect that City State will be pressing the past early. Fanning a old dude trainer knows how to get a horse to win........Fanning drops City State first time in for a tag.......a big time drop in class....He gets the ground saving rail and off to the races he begins.........come catch this son of Carson City..........good pedigree that is bred for speed.
Artlington House trained by Jeff Bonde by Unbridled needs to learn how to break cleanly to win a race......all three of his starts he has broke or walked out of the gate giving the the field a head start.......Maybe the switch to Bejarano will help his chances.
One races does not make a career so give the blueblood pedigree and sneaky good connection of Kristen Mulhall and Martin Pedroza a second change.........Big Gregg has a shot because of his pedigree......trainer jockey combo and soild works under his belt.
1. Crucero
2. City State
3. Arlington House (won)
Long Shot Big Gregg
I CHANGED MY MIND WHEN I SAW THE PRE WARM UP DURING THE START
OF THE RACE AND SINGLED ARLINGTON HOUSE...........BOTH THE FAVORITE
CRUCERO AND CITY STATE LOOKED RANK TO ME....THREW THEM OUT!

All running down the turf hill a optional 80 G claiming race......
ANALYSIS:
Bobbie Grace won sprinting over in England before coming state side. She had tons of trouble this Tom Proctor trained filly........in her Del Mar Grade 3 stakes race....she was blocked and could not get clear but she was flying late finishing full of run.......today it looks like her day to take down this field. She has a excellent turn of foot running down to the wire where the true running begins.
Into Oblivion broke her maiden over this track on the dirt. She is bred top to bottom to relish the turf..............She ran her best race in her debut with big speed figures......James Cassidy then put her on the bench after runner her four times........she comes back fresh with the only jockey to know her Mike Smith........good value bet to place..........s her morning line is 6 to 1.
Sadler know how to claim a horse as he claimed Diamond Cut for 50 G's. She has sprinted two races getting a win and a second.......She looked good winning....she geared down the last 100 yards of the race.....this three year old filly is bred top to bottom for this distance and surfaced...sired by Unusual Heat out of the mare that loves the turf El Prado.........Sadler benched her last year in Nov. He has strung together nice long furlong works in her.......Great morning line 15 to 1. Perez is the only jockey that has ridden her........He is a under-rated jockey that has the experience and understanding to rate her and get her out of trouble......She warrants respect.....do not dismiss her for the win.

One mile maiden special weight for three year old's routing on the dirt.!
ANALYSIS:
It will so very soon today or later that Hollendofer's trained Cyrus Alexander will knock the maiden door down and walk though. He lost a heartbreaker opening week and was third by a hair right at the camera. Money Man re-rides this dude. Facts.........He cost over a million dollars and he is a half brother to Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver! He gets a ground saving rail trip no traffic problems and saves ground today.
His main rival is Selection trained by by Proctor who does not hire the bug boy but hires Gary Stevens because of his patience and experience. I always look hard at a Candy Ride baby because they win early and can run on any surface. Look Gary stays around late to ride Selection indicates that he thinks the horse has a big chance to beat Cyrus.
Bobby Baffert's Wabel who has sprinted twice and now gets added distance.......Moreover he exits fast sprints with (Gomper and the talented Micks Miracle). He is the speed of the speed as you will need to go with him and if he relaxes on the early lead he could be hard to run him down.
Dream Police trained by Richard Baltas who's record is better then what he has done at this meet.........A Blue-Blood pedigree sired by Forest Wildcat who should relish the added distance. He comes back fresh. Dream switches jockeys to Bejarano........I expect he will give a better performance to date!
Malibu Wood exits a highly regarded sprinter.......He adds distance which he will love......I re-watch his last start and he finish the race full of run and it looked like he could run the race again......Hall Of Fame Neil Drysdale trains this blue-blood and I like this dude....bet him to place......as the morning line is 6 to 1 and I expect Wood will hit double digit odds.
1. Cyrus Alexander SINGLE (third)
2. Selections
3. Malibu Wood
