I watched L T Reckess in the Santa Paula Stakes........ran a sub par race......Her last race is smoked a good allowance field.......the controlling speed.....come catch.........the closer I expect Parada.....I like her running style but she up against it with Reckless out on the front end.......I expect a gate to wire win....

I have like Lovmeister who tailed off last year.....needed some time off to get fit and ready to win this restricted sprint claimer........We should get good odds and a great value bet from the rail........

RACE 3

A first level allowance race on the main track.......I bet the import from back east.........Honduran gets himself into trouble......at the start of the race and gets into traffic trouble.......the pace looks like he can draft right behind the heavy favorite Seeking The West....

Cerin takes off the blinkers as Corey re-rides him which I think he has a above average turn of foot turning for home.......I like the works couple with that he is the best closer of this small field.......Bet this one!

RACE 4        AMERICAN HANDICAP

Obviously the speed and class of the race.....finished fifth behind Wise Dan in the Breeder's Cup Mile. I expect both Winning Prize and Silentio and I have been a fan of this talented horse......Bejarano takes over...tab the major jockey switch...I expect Silento to be very game down at the wire......Let's try to beat the favorite with Silentio over Obviously and Winning Prize.

A tough wide open 20 G race.......take your pick as I expect some of these horse's are odd form....but the pace looks like cheap speed which sets it up for the closer Jovita's Tuffy.......huge win and huge Beyer last race......a repeat of that race he should win this at low odds....no value bet because of the short odds.........single this one!

Carla Gains sends out the fresh promising two year old I Earned It Baby which I bet last summer at the beach......Brian trains Incline Village gets a good post and comes in fresh....has improving speed figures........Let's take a shot with this gelding.....

A maiden claimer for 50 G's going a route race on the turf.....Dan Blacker a trainer that I respect with a small stable......Stolen Property is a second time starter bred for this distance......off slow his debut was a mere prep going down the hill.....He is bred top to bottom for the turf......tab the jockey switch to Martin Garcia........

I expect the horse to beat is the dropper Public Interest who exits better races then this maiden claimer. He running style is to draft behind the speed a is a late closer.

Misdeed I have bet before from the trainer Richard Mandella. He draws the short straw and gets the extreme outside post.......ten starts just might be the key to the winner's circle.

The X factor is the horse coming back from a year lay off....Indian Gods......has been training lights out and has a decent pedigree on the turf.....if he is ready then watch out for him.
