RACE 1

One mile and a eighth a restricted 12 G claimer starts Sunday's card. The speed after I spent time on this race is Trouble X Two.......He is quick...quicker then his rivals.......Matt Chew trains as I expect this distance will be no problem with his pedigree..........He goes first off the claim for Matt....as he put a five furlong drill into him to get him ready and fit to run......like the pedigree and love this bug jockey who has been ultra white hot at this track.....weight comes off.......

Crusher.......the beaten favorite was claimed by Hess and Garcia is the new jockey on him......He was way to wide in his last race then in the deep stretch folded which was not a good sign.....A small field of six that will make pace and class with strategy by the jockeys the issue in winning the race....a small bet on Trouble X Two if the odds are higher then the morning line.

RACE 2

One mile on the turf for older maiden fillies and mares........this race is hard therefore a good betting race if we get the winner home. O paper I like two fillies.......Hey Pretty Girl has faced much better coming out of a straight maiden.........pedigree she is the daughter of Arch...a very talented sire. She has both speed and tactical speed so she can stalk then kick clear turning for home. Denise Bauer the trainer is very under-rated and in fact she can get them to fire!

Richard Baltas a sneaky ass trainer and very under-rated sends out Scene Queen.........she too drops in class. She has run going long where she belongs.......She warrants respect as a major player.

Money Play debut is that she broke slow taking her out of the race.......one race does not make a career. I like the works on her as they are long.........excellent trainer and jockey combo....Marty Jones and Van Dyke as weight comes off.

Kissin Lucky Lips trained by Puype gets Tyler to ride....this daughter of Dunkirk drops in class and switches back to the dirt......bred for it.

RACE 3

A state bred restricted first level allowance sprint on the main track for fillies and mares. Take note............ a small field of five and each and every one here has a shot to win this race.......difficult race.

Sea's John's Spirit is knocking at the door at this level. I expect Ron has him ready to run a big one if he does not do the classic bounce and run a sub par race. He should get plenty of speed to run at as he is a sprint closer. He will need luck as he is on the rail.....and will let the rabbit press the early pace then kick clear turning for home

12 Folds at one time before he ran a series of dull races........won a highly regarded open company 32 G claiming race. The pace looks fast and contested and they might burn them selves out before reaching the wire......12 Folds needed her last race as she ran like a short horse after running the Del Mar. I like the works on her........ Let's try to beat the favorite"

RACE 4

A contentious difficult wide open and therefore a good betting race. Showme Your Friend has been on my watch list.....I watch the video again and he ran before then what the PP's indicate. A good Northern California trainer ships him down to run with the big boys......good works and good record as he is a game one. He switches back to the turf where he runs his best races.......I like this one but as I said this is a difficult race to handicap.


I expect the favorite will be He's A Dance Star that comes in fresh.........The field will need to catch Big Note........the speed of the speed and catch him to win this race.

RACE 5

A main track sprint restriced Cal Bred dash five and half furlongs for maiden fillies. At one time Jerry sent out winners.......He is getting long in the tooth but he can flat out rain......He sends out Ryerro who has speed with experience.....if the first time starters need a race I like this one. His main man is riding.......

This is a spread race.....so spread.....Matt Chew I hope will win the first race and I hope he wins the last race with Perfect Tango.......the clockers like her...and a good route to sprint betting angle.............so take note this is the bottom of the maidens.....untrustworthy and suspect.
