RACE 3             ECHO EDDIE S.

A Cal-Bred stake race sprinting six and half furlongs on the dirt for three year old's. I was very blowed away when Whine For Wine had ton's of trouble during the race then over came the traffic problems and won......a very rare act in his second start........I expect he will climb up the class ladder as he is bred by his dad Deputy Minister out of the mare Jump Start......Bejarano's first choice was this one......It looks like on paper he has ridden a number of horses in this field.


Pray Hard ridden by Bejarano is a strong contender as Jerry trains this one too. He looked very strong winning an allowance race......He warrants respect.

Oh Daddy Oh looks to be the speed of the speed....He gets the acid test on class but his numbers and pedigree cannot rule him out.

Well Measure was beaten by Pray Hard but as you know that can be turned around....

I have Alert Bay on my watch list....excellent pedigree that is both quick and can stalk.......trained by Miller and ridden by Tyler......He has not run a bad race in his career........I will try to be the favorite Whine For Wine.

RACE 4


A talented big field of turf maidens going down the hill. Green Tag debut as excellent getting third at this course....D'Amato has been training strong after that race.... I like the works couplied with the pedigree on the first time starter Sammy Mandeville.......bred for the turf and bred to be quick......Mike Smith rides........

RACE 5              SANTA ANITA OAKS

The pace looks slow to me........Ria Antonia.......goes to the Baffert barn....the daughter of Rockport Harbor ran super over this track last year in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies....takes off the hood.......gets the money man......I like her with Bajan....who has the talent but gets the acid test on class.

I was very impressed with Harlington's Rose............put in Rovenna who has been training ultra strong.....

RACE 7            PROVIDENCIA S.

A great betting race for three year old fillies......I bet Nashoba's Gold and have won with her......ho beat got beat by Diversy Harbor in the China Doll Stakes......Tiz Kissable should love the added distance and a better post........excellent pedigree and great odds.......Let's try to beat the favorite with Tiz Kissable.

RACE 8            SANTA ANITA DERBY


Great field this year in the Santa Anita Derby a mile and a eighth on the main track for three year old's.........I think maybe one of these's three year old's might be the Kentucky Derby Winner.......we will see!

My analysis on the field:  California Chrome is the three year old to beat with Candy Boy and a horse that if he can get his head straight can beat this field Schoolofhardrocks.........

One mile on the turf.......a starter's allowance that looks to me that this race is wide open........a spread if you can afford it!

Airfoil is a slight head case......but he is finally getting it together'''  as he is improving over the surface.......Let's take this one over Toledo Eddie and Seeking The Shefif

RACE 11

A contentious wide open down the hill race...spread if you can.....Joeandbetty's loves this course a late deep closer......will need help on the pace. Flashy Dame is on my atch list because she has had a ton of trouble....comes back fresh.......I like her with her works and trainer.....
