RACE 1

A cheap route going one mile and a sixteenth claiming race for four year old's and up on the main track. A small field of five. I had War Politics on my watch list as he won his maiden here two years ago........Jerry hikes him up in class........likes any surface and has won five times on a dirt track......My concern is a short no value price.....as the leading rider rides. The race is filled with speed as Unstopper Topper is the horse that will try to steal this race......from gate to wire......tab the switch in jockeys......Edwin is a major improvement.......need to catch this one to win. Paseo Alegro is quickly coming back after finishing second to the class dropper Courtside......Sierra claimed him on the wet surface that day........Bejarano jumps on War Politics then Paseo Alegro...... I will pass this race as I see no value in betting War Politics.......if his odds go up then I will bet him. Londinium  has a touch of back class and has tactical speed which is a major asset.....He can draft behind Unstopper Topper then kick clear........In expect his odds with be 4 to 1. But I will take a stand against him......I might be wrong but Let's try to beat the favorite with Unstopper Topper.......might not stop today with Edwin riding him.

RACE 2

One mile for three years old's is the maiden special weight race. Take note that there are many contenders and very few pretenders in this maiden special weight route race.....talented three years old's in this race!

I hate sometimes to bet the favorite but Rprettyboyfloyd he has run with Kobe's Back.......Bayern......Chelios.......all talented three year old colts......He was third in the San Vicente Stakes......the distance is the concern as he going around two turns today. He will be the favorite I expect with short odds.....

The interesting value colt is Shackleford Bank trained by Richard Mandella....this son of Offlee Wildout of the mare Afternoon Delights......a horse I loved. He adds the blinkers and has a sprint debut under his belt......He is ideally bred for this distance. 

Bob Baffert has two colt in this route race......Vegas Strip and Party Time.......both look like runners to me. Let's try to beat the favorite Rprettyboyfloyd with Shackleford Bank.........and add Vegas Strip and Party Time if you are playing the early pick four. Big Tire on the outside has speed.....I'am taking a stand against him......but love the Candy Ride pedigree.....He beat Dublin Up by three lengths in his last route race.....

RACE 3

One mile on the turf a optional claiming race for fillies and mares.

The Pick Six starts in this race........the import Rhagori is making her state side debut......Simon who trains her is excellent with imports.....She has won four of 14 starts in England.......She is training like she is fit and ready to roll........this daughter of Exceed out of the mare Excel looks scary to me.

But this field looks to me to be a average modest field. The speed might be Highly Rated...She was claimed from Jerry to Michael...She has finish second in three straight claiming races.....She might be this good.

Ginger Tap you can draw a line though her last start.....She was squeezed at the start and then steadied......took her out of the race as she was on the extreme outside post.......She has faced talented fillies like Sweet Lulu and Smooth Talker....... I like her.....a lightly raced of Tapit.


Miss Well Molded trained by Miller has speed gets a bad draw from the outside.....There are other speed types in this race but she is a threat


James Cassidy train's Lilbourne Eliza who has been on my watch list......She has talent and ability as I watched last year. Her comeback race she faced a tough bunch and comes off 5th...it is better then what it looks like on paper.

RACE 4

A mid level claiming sprint open to four year old and up on the main track. This is a wide open race.......The favorite I expect is Too Fast To Pass.......comes in fresh and returns to his claim level........great connection Hollendorfer and Bejarano. His works looks strong.......Great Friend Rule is speed and needs the lead to win but if he clears fast and early he warrants respect. Limited Response gets off the rail and he runs better with horse's to his outside..........with so much need to lead types I like Limited Response.......He should have plenty to fast factions to run at......His third start....and you can give him a excuse with his last two races........ran short and I expect Mike Puype to have him ready to roll!

RACE 6

Seven furlongs is the distance of this optional allowance claimer for 40 G's.

I was impressed with Appealing Resume.........claimed by Ron.......She is looking for the hat trick today....exits a highly regarded race........Jeff sends in Our Pure Creation......a major player. I love the pedigree of Candy Ride......Mike Smith rides Sweet Factory........won her debut by 10 ........She has been training up lights out.....my concern is the distance but Candy Ride won at this distance.

The feature race of the day is a starter allowance on the turf going down the hill. Take note this is a tough starter allowance.I was impressed with Intoxicating Move......broke slow..walked out of the gate and won.......hard way to win.
