She exits a key maiden race where a number of sophomore's have came back a won. She gets the rail and I expect Bejarano will have her clearing early.......She might be tough to collar if no one goes with her.......looks like gate to wire........

The X factor blue blood is Satirical.......Stevens and Mandella teams up on her. I love the 49er pedigree and her mom is kin to Funny Cide the Kentucky Derby winner.

Dancinginthestreets sired by Street Boss switches back to the dirt......Joel Rosario rides her for trainer Eoin Hardy.....cuts back to sprinting........you can't rule her out.

Daylight's Coming trained by Jeff comes in fresh...interesting pedigree...might outrun hid odds.

One mile on the turf for maiden special weight open to three year old's. The speed might be Snuggley Bear.......a game colt who run's his best.....He has faced quality maiden's that have beaten him.......if no one goes with him he might take this group gate to wire. Excessive Kid sired by Lemon Drop Kid should love the stretch out to one mile.......love the pedigree for the turf.....and Gains is hot with second time starter's. I watch again his debut race on a wet surface......He broke slow......then had trafficc problems but finish the race full of run.........I like him today!

RACE 3

A restricted claiming race which is non winner's of two sprinting.  Tribal Smoke trained by Mullins removes the blinkers.......great move when he does this. Tab the switch to Baze who has been riding lights out. His works after his Jan. race Jeff has put four strong drills into him......I like the two five furlong drills then a good blow-out. Es Luna  trained by a trainer that has hit with bombs......Es Luna has been off for two years........ I love the sire Monarchos. Martinez Silverio a sneaky ass trainer hires a bug boy and gets 10 pounds off. Check this one during pre-race warm up......If He looks like he is on the muscle.......then bet him.......at 20 to 1....great value!. If he does not look good...Pass this race.

RACE 4

A maiden special weight sprint open to three year old's. The son of one of the best sires Tale of the Cat....Ferocious exits a strong debut getting second.....He is trained by Ron who is excellent with second timer's.

A first timer that looks ready is Sing With Bling...trained by Bill who works them slow......but Sing's works are fast......and check out who rides......Joel Rosario.

RACE 5

The San Felipe Grade 2 stake race at the distance of one mile and a sixteenth open to three year old's. California Chome is the horse to beat as Art Sherman has a super horse......When I saw Schoolofharddrocks in pre race warm up....He was a big strapping horse......I read he had some feet problems....but looking at his works indicates to me that he is fit and ready to rock and roll...at 8 to 1.....a good value bet......Let's try to beat California Chome which might be a hard task for Schoologhardrocks. Joe Talamo rides Schoolofhardrocks so I expect a big performance today.

RACE 6


The China Doll on the turf going one mile for three year old fillies. A wide open tough field for three year old fillies......There is talent in this field. Nashoba's Gold won first time out.......looked like a star.......sired by Smart Strike......She has a killer fast turn of foot. The same thing can be said about Diversy Harbor...and her turn of foot going down the hill was awesome. On The Backstreets won the Sweet Life Stakes down the hill.......She is bred to get one mile.......and needs to clear early because of her outside post. Anniversary Kitty a blue blood that gets the rail has routed before. She won her debut from the mid outside......Her last race is was stuck on the 14th post......She had traffic problems and was wide all around the track.......She finished second flying home.......Today....I expect Corey who is one of the best on the turf to chill and relax her then when the running starts turning for home.....stalk thee pace......then kick it into over-drive........ I like her at 12 to 1. Another filly that I like is Sheza Smoke Show.......at 12 to 1.....A Wilco filly has tactical speed so she can have a good stalking spot. Luis Saez a young talented jockey comes to ride her from out of town. She has been training fast and has impress the clocker's in the morning. .






RACE 7

The San Carlos  Grade 2 going seven furlongs for four year old's and up on the main track. Shakin It Up and Wild Dude look like the major player's here.......both will be bet big time. I like Sahara Sky who cuts back to a ideal distance for him....He has plenty of sprint speed to run at.......Joel Rosario fits him perfect as he can draft behind the speed.

RACE 8

The Kilroe Mile Grade 1 at one mile on the turf  for four year old's and up. The speed is Regally Ready . ......Winning Prize was awesome winning the Arcadia Stakes over this course....I like he will go favorite at post time.......Silentio beat Winning Prize at Hollywood in the Citation Cup........He gets a bad post on the extreme outside. Za Approval........was second to Wise Dan in the Breeder's Cup.....and Clement sends this one to the west coast.....beware! Lakerville a horse that is on my watch list and very talented and special.......He switches to the dirt......and goes one mile......bred to get the distance. His running style fits perfect to draft behind the speed then kick clear........ Kent has been riding lights out at this meet.

The Big Cap Grade 1 at the distance of one mile and a quarter. The big three is Game On Dude, Will Take Charge and of course Mucho Macho Man..............I like Will Take Charge over Mucho Macho Man and Game On Dude.........I scaried with Game On Dude.......if given a nice easy lead he just might be hard to collar turning for home....He get's slower factions today and has been training like the Old Dude.

RACE 10

A high priced allowance race sprinting on the main track. The speed here is Got Even and will take this field as far as he can. Mark Tsagalakis has a limited stable and under-rated.....but he has Oliver's Tale who fires in every race he has run. He comes in fresh..lightly race and Mark's morning works looks like he has him ready to rock and roll. Joel Rosario

RACE 11


A optional claiming allowance turf race at the distance of one mile......a wide open talented entry level allowance. There are two imports that scare me as major contender's.....Abbey Vale on the extreme outside....Mitchell is hot with imports and Bejarano could have his choice with many in this field and He chose Abbey Vale. African Oil another import that is making his U. S. debut.....Joel Rosario rides as Simon is excellent getting them ready......first time Lasix.......He works them slow..... Jules Journey was third in Jan in a state bred stake's race..... Joe Talamo rides.....He has a above average turn of foot.

Presenceofagenius is well bred and has run game in all three of his races.....He has the perfect running style......He can get to the inside quick then chill and rated him then make his move late.
