RACE 3

On paper, Empress of Midway looked strong getting third in debut.........Smith rides again........the one to beat if she takes to the wet track.  Passing Shower sired by War Chant should love the off track.......great outside post but needs to break clean this time around. Katerrific, a first time starter trained by Powell is bred to be quick......look who rides her.

RACE 5

Giannonatti is bred for the off track and with Baze riding she should be a late sprint closing threat. The speed looks to be J Louie and Smi'n From Above......who gets weight off and needs a clean break on the rail.

RACE 6

A wide open allowance sprint for three year old fillies.......A small field of five that every filly has a look........Belle Of The Fleet trained by Hendricks comes in fresh...she was on my watch list as .......I like how she is training...long works which indicates to me she is fit.........She will need to deal with Midnight Dream after looking very good last month winning a key maiden race.......this daughter of Elusive Quality should improve.......

RACE 7


A mile on the wet surface.........decimated by the scratches......The Gains filly ran a prep on the turf....She should be cranked foe this.......bred to like the dirt. The speed that might not stop is Veronica Bay......I expect Baze will send her early.......out of the race......So Let's take another filly that should move up over a wet track Winninginfashion sired by In Excesss........love a off track....

RACE 8

A real grab bag of the lowest level of maiden's claiming sprinting for older fillies and mares.......Classic Candy by Candy Ride trained by Adam is coming back fresh after running last summer. Jones sends out Amina Perfect.......gets a good outside post I guess......might draft into a good spot.......both major contender's.

Notbyemyrules showed speed in her debut before fading.......with ton's on the turf on the extreme outside.......Her last start looks to me a the race was a mere prep........She was struck on the extreme outside in a short dash...not the best place to be.......sired by Storm Cat out of the mare by In Excess should take to the off track.....20 to 1 is good odds.
