A mid level claiming sprint......Madoffwiththemoney trained by Danny looks to drop her over the surface that she run better on......Anita Marie should get a good stalking positionright behind the speed......sprint late runner trained by Jerry and Bejarano knows her well. 

I like this one so bet it to win and back it up with a place bet.

RACE 4

A weak modest group of maiden's......On Paper High On Final should smoke this group.....lightly raced and trained by Gaines.........why the huge drop from maiden special weight to cheap claiming maiden's is my concern.

Powell sends out Old Pueblo who got third in her debut......Steiner re-rides is a major plus......

The X factor upsetter is the first time starter Mixed Nuts...who is sired by Popular and the mom is Free House......Charles Stutts is a old timer who can get them to fire quickly from the outside.

Fly High trained by Doug has early speed and in a weak race like this should be out pressing the pace......

RACE 5

The Sham.......for three year old's........the road to the first Saturday in May.......six talented three year old's trying to get ten Kentucky Derby points.........one mile on the main track.......

Kristo.......costed a half a million dollars at auction.......His three races his speed figures are climbing.........ascending figures.....Midnight Hawk.......trained by the King.....won at a hard distance to win .........son of Midnight Lute.....Top Fortitude won at first asking....was visually impressive... Ontology took off the blinkers....then won......his final time was very fast.........jury is out on how he will run at Santa Anita on the dirt.......just might be a turf horse.

RACE 6


A hard race to trust is this low level claiming sprint that looks wide open to me. Peacenik is back after being re-claimed by Spawr.......He has speed to clear early from the rail......He warrants respect...because of his speed figures.

Bertran Hill looked good winning at the cushion track.......He has won over the dirt.

Street Car is hot at the claim box........He has ten wins to his name.......He is a contender......

Hollywood Heist a horse I have bet in the past ran like he needed a raced under his belt....He runs better at this course then at Del Mar and Hollywood........I like what the trainer has done......dropped him at a level where he has a chance to win at! He almost beat Mr. Commons routing over the dirt.......He has run in levels where he has been in too deep of water.......This level is where he belongs........a suspect cheap sprint on the outside......Harrington gets the sneaky and talented  Alberto Delgado to re-ride this six year old gelding. At 20 to 1 morning line this just might be a good value bet....I expect he will be thirty to one at post time.

RACE 7

A high priced claiming turf miler that if Danderek does not win then anyone in this race can win.......Son of Fantastic Light got third in a highly regarded starter allowance last month. The leading rider and leading trainer team up........Jerry and Bejarano....

Dancin Upside Down needed race in Dec.......sired by one of the best turf sires......has speed in a race where there seems to be a race void of speed..........Carl takes the blinkers off........pointed him to a race where he just might shock the public.......Brice takes the call.........He is a interesting live long shot where the public will not bet on him.....He will need to sit behind the speed which looks like Anythingscookin........He will try to go gate to wire in this race. Peter Eurton sends out Gab Power who was last seen at Del Mar facing much better company then the company here. He ran like a horse that was short running over at Hollywood on the cushion track...... a mere prep because today he gets back on the turf.......beware!

RACE 8



The 77th running of the San Pasqual....Grade 2......one mile and a sixteenth on the main track for four year old's and up.


Blingo......won at this track before......ran twice in 2013......has talent and trains by John Shirreffs.......merits respect......has been training super......the race with speed in it........gives Blingo a excellent set-up to run at!  Beware!

Blueskieasrainbows.........trained by Hollendorfer and wired his last race gate to wire........might just be the controlling speed from post two.

Majestic City......I thought was one talented precocious baby at two..........been a slight disappointment......one win in his last 10 starts.

Spus Spivens.......interesting horse that we have not seen since 2012........never won on dirt.

Majestic Harbor is back from the midwest...first start since May...Tyler rides and he has been training lights out over this track......He is a contender at six to one morning line.

Rousing Sermon trained by Hollendorfer and gets Rafael to ride........

Drill trained by Bob Baffert who won this race with Coil last year.

A contentious wide open race going down the hill with maiden's. Melatonin exits three good races over the synthetic surface. A First timer's that looks live to me.....Footstepsinbronze........bred top to bottom for the turf.....trained by Callaghan and ridden by Bejarano....... I like Relative Time........on the outside......
