In the San Vicente The Factor owned by Fog City Stables and trained by Bob Baffert won on a wet-fast track. I was impressed with the second place horse Sway Away who I hope gets enough stakes earnings to get to the big dance in May. He should be more mature and the sky is the limit for him.
In the Buena Vista on Monday Cozy Rosie who I picked on top was very impressive coming off a lay off and winning. She should love more distance and she will be fun to watch her four year old career.
Jeff Bonde had a great week-end sending out Smiling Tiger who in the San Carlos had a troubled start then flew at the wire to win under Joel Rosario. Jeff Bonde won the La Harba with Cambina in a impressive race having the outside post and going last to first to win.
In the San Luis Obispo it was a two horse race with Bourbon Bay and Champ Pegasus............. The Champ won in the final strides......... Great looking race to bet and watch.
As for maiden's who won Mildly Offensive looks to have a great future........
Maggie Mcgowan beat a Cal-Bred field and I will put her on my horse to watch list.....
I was impressed with the first time starter Hoorayforhollywood........He is a talented one!!
