Thursday Bank $1072  ....... it was one of those days... I bet $20 to place on the first time starter in Race 1 on Silver Luna and returned a profit of $78.00....... I made another place bet on Russian River which returned a profit of $58.00. The total profit was $136.00. All the others bets ran out which totaled $67.00. $136 minus $67 equals a profit for the day of $67.00........ plus the starting bank equals a profit of $1,141.00........... Friday's Bank $1,141.00  A grinding day and very lucky to turn a profit. All bettor's have had day's like this! Keep positive and move on......... Good luck Today!


Race 1             One Mile Sixteenth Claimer 10K

A race of suspect horses but I guess Look To The sky a money burner at the windows has tactical speed to reel in the speed horses to win this route race. If she falters then Recess who looked great winning a easier field can make a easy lead and win this. Watch out for 2dollarstowin which looks strong as a closer and will be flying late. A interesting live horse that I like is Fortyfivewithruby trained by O'Neil and gets the bug boy to ride with weight off.

Race 2             Six Half Furlongs Maiden 40K

The pace scenario looks like Derrick Do who pressed a fast pace at Fairplex is spotted for action in this sprint race. Lichtenstein will be reeling in the speed late. He is coming back from a lay off by trainer Bob Baffert. Lichtenstein drops into this race from maiden special weight company.......... Watch Out! Blazing a horse that can win this shortens up and has gas....... Blazing has faced Twirling Candy and others faster then this field.  He shortens up in distance and should be flying late. A honest runner...... He drops from better races to meet this field. Good To Go drops for the first time. A contentious race all trying to get there diploma.

The speed is Benecia and the one to catch. I like Meter Be Gone who looked good winning her debut. She exits a key maiden race and has tactical speed to reel in Benecia today. Warren's Lover will be picking up the pieces one by one. 

      


Race 4             Six Furlongs Turf Optional Claimer

Peter Miller has some runner's today on Friday's card. A Lil Dumaani is one of the live ones he sends out in this turf sprint. He will be near the lead and close when it counts. He likes the Hollywood turf. Amazombie is back at a distance that makes him a real scary contender at this distance. He wins turf races. Watch Out. Hidden Blessing is a two time winner on turf and might be overlooked by the public.

Race 5             One Mile Sixteenth Optional

The rabbit in this race is Saint Paul who will try to wire this route race. He wired a 32K claimer field at Del Mar. Past Performances makes him the horse to beat! I like Nextdoorneighbor who if he improves off his come back race looked great having a troubled trip last time out. He finished the race flying at the end full of run. Spring Forth is a contender who adds blinkers and looks fit and spotted for action. A interesting live horse is Unusual Smoke that fits with this company at a price!



Race 6             Six Half Maiden Special Weight

Candy Ride is spotted for a maiden win today! A improving 2 year old filly who barely missed a win her first race. Since then she has a excellent work out tab for this race. Royal Ancestry was a filly I picked........ She has run with some of the best. This race has some quality fillies in the field....... it will be fun to watch some of these future stars. Miss Radiance with a race under her belt should show major improvement....... She not out of the win picture! Honey Prize a first time starter is a blue blood and has excellent work outs for her first race.

Race 7             One Mile Sixteenth Turf Allowance

I handicap this exact race last week. Tiz Argent was the horse I pick to break his maiden at Del Mar which he did giving JR the riding title at Del Mar. Accelerant looked awesome winning his debut going two turns. He might just climb the class ladder.  Miguel's Mascot ran in the same condition and just got beat at the wire. He is a contender! The horse that I have followed is Lodi Red. He needs clear sailing as his last race he was stopped by traffic and could not get a clear lane. He is fit and ready.

Race 8             Six Furlongs Maiden 32K

Darling Disarray has been off for two months. She fits at this level with her speed numbers and running style. Miss Buxley faces a easier field today drop from 62K to 32K.....a player. Bella Giornatta takes the big drop from maiden special weight to 32K claimer. She will improve. Pacific Coast Girl has gas and drops in class.... A Major Contender! The horse I like as a first time starter is Mrs Card.
