Race 2            Six Furlong Maiden 40K

Miss Picaboo has the edge and experience over the speed coupled with the fact that today she cuts back to six furlongs. A ideal distance for this speed horse to get loose on the uncontested lead. She looks to me to be the horse to beat. If Miss Picaboo falters down the lane then this race is wide open. Lutess trained by John Stadler drops to collect. She looks live today.

Race 3            Five Half Furlong Claimer 10K 
Cajun Gent exits the best race with Quick Enough drops to 10k to collect a check. the question remains is he really that off form or just had a off day at Del Mar. Cajun Gent is my pick. The barn is over due to hit!  Full On  I will add in my pick three.

Race 4            Five Half Furlong Maiden 62K
The Broad Bush colt might like the poly track and David Hoffman hooks up with Patricia V..... just looks like a runner...... American Wildcat drops out of straight maiden to 62K to collect a check.... and looks like the one to beat! There is some interesting first time starter as I have mention: Money Included as one. Winning Desire by the daddy valid expectations post a bullet blow out...and his June bullet going five furlongs was the best of the day! Beware.... E Z Led drops from straight maidens was well backed his first race and looks to improve a ton his second race back.

Race 5            One Mile Optional 25K
I like Lodi Red shortens up to a mile and might just relish the poly track at a very good price at the tote board. Most of the money will go on the rail horse but I rarely like a speed horse who just broke her maiden and was never headed in that race by other horse. He just might be a horse to catch climbing the class ladder but  I'm siding with Lori Red who exits a key maiden race and I have a hunch he might like the poly track today! Good betting race for the public. North Folk is 3 for 3 at Del Mar and loves the poly track. Sam's a Runnin I have bet and have been somewhat disappointed with Sam!

Race 6            Five Furlong Green Flash Turf Sprint
Great race to watch and good betting race in this turf sprint. This race is competitive with the fastest horses on the West Coast Cost of Freedom who jumped in the air his last race taking him out of that race......... Look who's back............ California Flag .......... tough dudes to beat but at five furlongs do you see a horse coming off the pace to beat these two.....To me it look like Cost Of Freedom is quicker then California Flag and who will crumble first .........


1. Dilemma looks in deep waters .... is better on turf shortens up to a sprint..... but facing the best sprinters on this circuit..... Pass!


2. Quick Enough not quick enough with these dudes.


3. California Flag is the scary dude in this race! If fit and ready he 
most likely will have his picture taken today at the winners circle. The horse to beat if you can!


4. Wing Forward looks like he will drink the cool aid ....... hard to back in this spot!


5. Cost of Freedom if breaks clean today will make it up to the bettors who backed him last race. " A Do Over" for his last race! If Flag is fit and ready watch out for a record breaker going five furlongs........


6.  My Summer Slew the race with 3 speed horses out in the contested lead sets the race up from this unknown live horse to close on all of them at the wire.! Much to love about this pick....


7. Lt. Hopeful must be very hopeful to get a check.......

8. Stoneside if the speed melts down will be closing with the perfect style for this race. He might just turns the tables on My summer slew and out run his odds.

Race 7            Six Half Furlong Optional 62K
The pace scenario is void of speed except the rabbit Pincelada. Catch Pincelada if you can! I expect a big performance from her because of the lack of pace in this race. Fund Raiser is one tough filly and has hit the board in all her races. Give her a look along with Crisis. A horse I have followed is Softly Singing......adds blinkers and please do not take this horse lightly for Hoffendorfer!

Race 8            One Mile Turf Maiden Special Weight
Sammartino just jumps off the page dropping from a straight maiden and finds a semi lack luster field of Cal Breds to beat....... I see no reason the horse can not get the distance.
