Belmont Stakes clocker: Tacitus, Sir Winston looking good

Two-time Grade 2 winner Tacitus trains Thursday at Belmont Park.

All 10 members of the Belmont Stakes field were on the grounds for Thursday's training session at Belmont Park, with routine gallops the order of the day. JOEVIA and EVERFAST galloped over the main track for the first time, while WAR OF WILL and stablemate SIR WINSTON went out earlier than usual, perhaps with the thought of finding a quieter time for the energetic Preakness winner to train this morning rather than during the hustle and bustle after the renovation break.
