Great betting card the first day of Santa Anita.........Miller has two horses that look fast...........Secret Ovation and Moonlight Meeting.......Airfoil......horse I have bet before will draft off the pace and close late..........The horse I like is O'Neil's horse on the rail........El Nino Terrible.........I expect he will outrun his odds.......has been training super............Blinkers off and gets weight off...........should get a good value bet on the win place and show pools............

RACE 2    2 YR. OLD 50 G MAIDEN CLAIMING


This race is a wide open 2 yr. old modest 50 G maiden sprint...........hard to trust this race so take note.......

Little Mustard is the horse that has experience and has finished third in all of his three races....not saying much...........has no sprint speed but gets a good post on the outside.........The first time starters looks live.........Da Brooklyn Kid.......JR on Bobby Z....and Elkhorn Crown from the David Bernstein stable....... the closer looks to be Star Express and Nusret...........Gambler's Wish.......has speed and then stopped.........Let's use him on top...........He might not fade so early in this race.........Like I said.........Anyone in this race would not surprise me!

A good betting race..........Asian's Way........sired by one of the fastest sire sprinters Trappe Shot looks scary to me.......and the filly by Smoke Glacken.......bred to be quick from the start........Cobia..........

A wide open betting race.......I bet Ron Ellis's horse after switching barns from the Michael Pender stable......Everqueen........broke slow then pulled to the early lead before fading.........I expect with a race her belt........and the morning line 20 to 1.......She just might surprise......Talamo re-rides her.......

Bejarano takes the call on Baffert's filly Escapee......she has speed and look who rides...........

The pick six starts in this race...... I love this turf course going down the hill........... The Horse for the course is Alert bay who has four wins over this course........Richard's Boy loves this course but needs a clear traffic course breaking from the rail.........No Silent is a different horse......Stevens will re-ride him winning the Eddie D Stakes.......looked great that day........

Toowindytohaulrox........needs a have a clear path.........I have followed this one.......He likes this course......gets a good outside post..........I'am taking a stand against the chalk......... And I have pick him on top........to beat  Big Bane Theory and Holy Lute.......Alert Bay.....Richard's Boy and No Silent will get the money at the windows...........in the Daytona..........good luck and enjoy this good betting race.....

I re- watched Danzing Candy race.........son of Twirling Candy........was left at the gate then pulled his way to the lead then was steadied after getting into trouble.........Mike Smith rides....if he gets a clean start at the gate he looks like the scary maiden to me..........

Jerry Hollendorfer has a First time starter that has trained fast with long works which I love to see.....blue blood pedigree that wins early..........An Khe Pass............

Curlin Rules a First time starter has trained super and JR takes the call.......a contender......

I bet Prince Of Arabia who finished full of run...........beware!

The pace will make this race........expect Om and Acceptance to be on the front end early........with Ocho Ocho Ocho........I expect Vigilance and Soul Driver and  Mister Brightside to draft into a good trip behind the speed........I like D'Amato's closer.......son of Tiznow Vigilante and Mister Brightside..........Om is the one to beat but he can get beat in this wide open Mathis Brothers Mile........

RACE 7       LA BREA STAKES

I was impressed with Ben's Duchess.......and her last work was fast......Her win was the speed melted down and she found herself upfront winning the race......the pace might not be what she ran in her last race........

The Pace-

The speed looks to be Hope City Girl........might not stop and be gone.........Her speed figures are rising and beware as she worked a good fast drill........Finest City has the blueblood pedigree to climb the class ladder........look out as she gets a good outside post........Baffert sends out Maybellene who comes in fresh.........Hope City Girl backs up..........then look to Cavorting.......who on paper is the class of the race...........
