SUNDAY'S FREE PLAY AT LOS ALAMINTOS

RACE 1

Non winner's of two 8 G claiming route at the distance of one mile open for three year old's and up!

ANALYSIS

Lucky Cotton last year ran with some quality horses.........I expect he is better then what appears this year.........I like how he is training over this course.

Caramuru takes the huge class drop......He was vanned off in May then his last was a mere sprint prep......this distance is his distance to run at........

Craig Dollase puts on the blinker's on Navarre.......who is the morning line favorite. He gets the bug boy to ride so weight comes off........Craig claimed him two races back...I like him to win this....

               1. Navarre     won

RACE 2

Maiden 20 G dash for fillies and mares three year old and up!

ANALYSIS

A tough race because of the first time starter's running in this low level dash. The horse that has run but might be hard to trust is the favorite Gisele At Fonz's. But having said that he has speed and needed last race where he pressed fast factions before fading to sixth......He had a horrible post last race might be a valid excuse......He shortens up in distance........Peter Miller and Edwin team up......

Mike Puype is excellent with first timer's........He sends out Kohala which is sired by Memo who bred's quickness........She looks like a runner to me.

Val Brinkerhoff sends out Stormy Dreams which is sired by Stormin Fever.........bred to outrun her odds.......beware!

         1. Kohala                won
         2. Stormy Dreams

         3. Gisele's At Fronz's

RACE 3

A 8 G claiming dash non winners of two open to three year old's and up!

ANALYSIS

Bill Spawr trains Dehere Is Gone who I have bet in the past......He runs much better over the dirt then over the all-weather surface at Del Mar.

             1. Dehere Is Gone
             2. Omar Little         won
             3. Patriotic Lion

             Long Shot  Own It

RACE 4

Maiden 20 G sprint for fillies and mares on the main track!

ANALYSIS

Cheap modest maiden dash to the wire........but having said that Tom Proctor is excellent with first time starts.....He sends out Cin City Lady........sired by Indian Charlie..........looks very live to me......She is bred to be quick and win early.......

         1. Cin City Lady
         2. Tiz Bliss

RACE 5

Maiden special weight sprint for two year old fillies!

ANALYSIS

          1. Ritzy Tags
          2. Doctor Susan
          3. Miss Green Pond

         LONG SHOT  Fateer

RACE 6

A maiden special weight sprint for three year old's and up!

ANALYSIS

I was impress with Shaniel fast pace at Del Mar before fading.....He shortens up in distance and I expect over the dirt he will run better then what he did on the turf........He's A Bling is one of the favorites. I will take Shaniel over the favorite.........Day Of Fury trained by Baffert looks to be the one to beat.

              1. Shaniel
              2. Day Of Fury
              3. He's A Bling

RACE 7

A claiming 16 G sprint open for three year old's and up!

ANALYSIS

I was impressed with Sacred Ovation and I will bet him over Half Dome Dude.

           1. Sacred Ovation

           2. Half Dome Dude

RACE 8

The feature race on Today's card is the non graded sprint race for two year old colt's and gelding's.

ANALYSIS

I was impressed how Rowdy Dylan ran a broke his maiden over this track.........trained by Peter Miller........on paper Wake Up Nick has won four races out of four......He is the one to beat looking for his fifth straight win......A interesting live long shot to me is Colorado Strong.......He has excellent pedigree and can stalk behind the speed types which this field has plenty of........It will be hard to bet against Wake Up Nick but I like how Rowdy Dylan looked flying past the wire.........

           1. Rowdy Dylan
           2. Wake Up Nick
           3. Colorado Strong

RACE 9

A one mile maiden 20 G claiming route race at one mile!

ANALYSIS

Cotton Valley...did not like Del Mar so just throw out the last two races.......Mike Puype trains this three year old gelding.....Tyler Baze re-rides which is a positive sign to me........

Higher Mandate is coming back off a lay off.....sneaky ass trainer and a jockey that looks like another Joel Rosario.........a talented jockey I expect to see in years to come.

             1. Higher Mandate
             2. Cotton Valley
