LOS ALAMITOS FREE PLAY

RACE  7           E.B.JOHNSTON STAKES

A sprint six and a half furlongs for Cal Bred open for three year old's.

Patriots Rule was awesome when he was second to the real deal Red Outlaw who we saw won the El Cajon Stakes in the Real Good Deal on Aug. 1st at the beach at Del Mar. He broke his maiden on the dirt the first of this year at Santa Anita Park......Major player and of course contender.... I like how he runs from off the pace and does not need to be the speed...he can wait then kick clear when the real racing begins.

Prinesskateiebella.......good a filly who takes on the guys today........She has won over this track and the rest of the field cannot say that. She broke her maiden and is facing winners for the first time........she looks like she is in over her head but I ave been surprise before......She will need to be faster to beat this field.....

Eddie's First trained by Doug O'Neil switches back from the turf to the dirt........He got smoked by Shared Belief in the LOs Alamitos Derby.......I think he beat only one horse that day......He has talent as we saw him break his maiden going down the hill and finished first by nine lengths getting a course record at Santa Anita.

Bettor Bet trained by Michael Harrington cuts back from routing to sprinting today. He has been facing the best horses in So Cal circuit........5th behind California Chrome at Hollywood in the King Glorious Stake race.

Solid Wager sire by Birdonthrewire and trained by Peter Miller. He did not like the poly track and I expect he will run much better over this surface then at Del Mar.......This summer at Santa Anita when he ran on dirt he was a winner in a starter allowance.....Much bettter on this surface......Joe Talamo will take the mount for Miller.

Arctic Code is a maiden with five starts.......He lives at this track.....Harrington trains him and he does have speed...He looks to be over his head and the waters look too deep for him in this three year old stake race.

A interesting maiden with excellent pedigree is What A View. Donald Warren trains him and he was bred by Old English Racho Farms.......might outrun his odds and will be overlooked by the bettors..I would not do that.......one race does not make a career....in his debut sired by Vronsky he finished fourth at Del Mar. He has strung fast long works over across town on the dirt.......do not just throw out this one!

            1. What A View
            2. Solid Wager'
            3. Patriots Rule..favorite)....the one to beat

           NO VALUE WITH PATRIOTS RULE
