Live daytime Thoroughbred racing will resume Thursday at Los Alamitos, kicking off the second week of the inaugural Fall Meeting. Post time is 2 p.m.
The main event on the program is a $46,000 optional claimer for fillies and mares.
Lucky S.J., who broke her maiden at first asking in her July 5 debut during the Summer Thoroughbred Festival, will try to stay perfect in her third start for owner-breeders Rick and Sharon Waller and trainer Phil D’Amato.
The opponents for the 4-year-old California bred include four other last-out winners - Backwoods Belle, Brilliant Melody, Pearl de Vere and On Golden Pawn – as well as Tizmetizyou, Peppy Bolly, Harlington’s Rose and Winning Vision.
The six-furlong contest goes as the seventh of eight races.
