RACE 1

Six Furlong 16 G claiming sprint for three year old fillies on the all weather track.


ANALYSIS:     SEVEN HORSE'S ANF FEW PRETENDER'S


 
Whodoo Pirate...........the daughter of Seattle Slew  and trained by a sneaky trainer Leonard Powell.......under-rated trainer down here at del Mar........that is not the case up north! Pirate's lasr rae she has all types of trouble and she won that race with Steiner riding her. He re-rides her from the garden spot the outside post. She has faced better foes then this field;

When I'am Calling U has more wins two in fact......he was the beaten favorite in her last start.....and she could bounce back as Speckles beat her in her last race. Kent And Hess Jr. have been red hot this year.

Speckles has the live combo team of Jeff Bonde and Rafael Bejarano.......Her come-back race was excellent finishing second........If she runs back to that race she will be tough to beat........My concern is that she has never has never run back to back races with wins........she does's the classic bounce.


Dan Blacker is a better trainer then what appears with her record.........I expect he might get his fist win of the meet with Analemma. The daughter of Unbridled Song out of the mare Corba King is a semi blueblood at this level........Her come-back rac is pressed fast factions before fading.......She needed that race.......speed is quick from the blocks and she can wait and  mow this field down........She has run in races that is much better then this 16 G claimer.......bet her to place as this is a good value bet betting her to place.... I expect her odds will be ten to 1 or higher.

RACE 2

One Mile for the cheapest claiming level at Del Mar for fillies and mare on the all weather track.


ANALYSIS



Suspect hard to trust this field........but having said that Silk In Silver is dropping in class and get Bejarano to ride her......The ex jockey trains and she can stalk Acute who is the speed of the speed......She warrants respect as well as Acute and Cayanna. I like Astuzia trained by Steven M. She is not a sprinter but she is a much better router.........This race should relish Astuzia because of the distance......

RACE 3


A high price maiden claiming level of 50 G's for two year olds........at a short dash of five and half furlongs on the all weather track!


ANALYSIS

The three year old Temeeku had ton's of trouble......she broke slow.......walked out of the gate then flew home making up ground going 4 wide.......Her last race was a prep race for this longer race.......she is bred for two turns.......distance is right up her alley........I like her and will bet her across the board. Pter Eurton trains and stays with her......this is his first choice!

Best Effort debut was ridden by Talamo and he picks Teemeeku over Best Effort........do not dismiss her because her debut was a prep race for this longer distance.......The bettor's made her 5 to 1.........low odds for a FTS.......and remember Sadler trains her and the red hot Kent D. rides.......He can do no harm at Del M this year!

My X Factor and a interesting long shot is the horse on the rail Luvly Rita who gets Lasix and Pat takes off the hood. She will out run her odds and if the two top selections run a sub par race then Rita who is very talented can take down this field.........bet her to show.

RACE 4

First level maiden 40 allowance turf race for fillies and mares. At the distance of one mile!


ANALYSIS


A FTS Holiday Maker..........dam is Empire Maker that makes babies that win first time out.



Hector has a scary looking first time starter Mama's Trashed dam is by Unusual Hear who loves this all weather track. Her sire is Smart Strike that is bred for speed which is a major asset.

Sister Hubert ships down south after switching to a new barn from Morey to Jack Carava..........I expect she will outrun her odds today as Tyler Baze rides her.

Optional allowance claiming race at the distance of one mile and a sixteenth running on the all weather track.


ANALYSIS


I was impressed when West Riding won her debut........She could be this good and talented as she faces winners for the first time and climb the class ladder and win.......She is the real deal.....as Mike Smith takes the mound.

Tizz A Kiss I bet and I was yelling at the screen when she mowed them down.......she was extremely wide and still won. A difficult move .........!!!!


Diaminda is on my watch list and she ran a strong come baxk race. Her pedigree tell me that the longer the race is the better she will run. Victor one of the best turf jockeys rides her today........at good value bet to place.

RACE 6    THE EL CAJON 100K STAKES

One mile on the poly track at the distance of one mile for three year olds.




ANALYSIS

I bet Racing For Chasen two year old filly.........She relishes the all weather poly track which is what we need in this race. Global Hart should like the surface. Wedding  Blush I expect will take most of the money at the window's. She won her debut then got third in a stakes race.

ANALYSIS


I was impressed with Secret Command..........I bet him and he has the perfect racing style in this race...........He can press the pace then he can wait chillin to have the real running start........   He can mow them down!

Sir Macho looks to be well back by the bettor's. Roman Success is my long shot pick..........Here is my selections:
