I think today Prontezzo will break her maiden......He was unlucky not to win his last race......He has finished a second and a third in two starts.......


I think Turnover is his main rival........

A short field running in a stakes race. I have always thought that Big Bane Theory would be spotted for a stakes race......but I like Calm Pacific over Big Bane Theory.

Today Bejarano looks to have many live horses on Today's card.  I like Footsrtepsinbronze over I'll Wrap It Up and I'vegotafeeling.

RACE 5


I bet Lemon De Oro when Smith has a ton of trouble in her last race......she finished past the wire full of run.........I made a note that I would bet her next time out......She needs a clean trip and I expect that the owners were not happy with how Smith got her in traffic trouble and pulled her back.....then she flew home finishing third. The switch to Bejarano is not a draw back since he is in the hunt for the leading jockey.


Sams Sister won first time out this month......so we know she loves this surface........She exits a key race where horses she beat came back and won........dangerous!

I will give Press Baron another chance......He adds the hood and has won on the turf at Del Mar. He has the perfect racing style to be up close near the rabbits or Bejarano can sit back and chill then kick clear and mow this field down.


Hog's Hollow has won three of his last five this year....He is razor sharp and can run on the poly or the turf......dangerous!


Tigah is dropping in class as he has run in stake races that he was over his head too deep in water.

ANALYSIS


I bet Tappingintherainshen Smith rode her going around two turns.......she is better sprinting then routing........she cuts down in distance and Bejarano rides is a major asset.


Sweet Marini needed her last race as she ran short coming back from a year lay off. She is a stakes winner at this track and I expect with a prep race under her belt she will be cranked up today.


Koukla is a pure sprinter and likes this poly track......lightly race and I expect her to fire today.


Mahalo Princess has seven wins......she gets the acid test on class.......but she might be this good to win.

RACE 9     DEL MAR DEB   GRADE 1


I was impressed with Bob Baffert's filly Startlet O'Hara morning line is 5 to 1.........Her win was awesome in her second start....She beat a big field of ten and Victor geared her down.......excellent filly and I think she has the right running style to mow them down at seven furlongs.


Sunset Glow is the one to beat.......you will need to catch her to win this.......Her Emmynecy I was impressed with her debut.......the clockers have been impressed with her in the morning........Manahatta do not dismiss as I was impressed with how she broke her maiden......
