RACE 1
A sprint for four years olds and up in a maiden special weight race. The lineup includes...
1. Octane.....was well bet in his debut three months ago....He split a field of ten. Check out his ultra fast workouts for his second start....looks live!
2. Royal Meridian....exits a key maiden race where he posted a big speed number in his debut getting third...He ran into Cyclometer who came back and won....Julio has freshed this one up with solid drills in the morning.
3. In High Regards......In Excess first time starter.....might not need a race..... Sire and Dam have a high percentage of winners right out of the blocks.
4. Sequoia Warrior......Baffert and Dizney team up on this shipper.....cuts back in distance and his best race was on the dirt.
5. Bev N Bud.....has not race in a year .....outsider because he steps up from Cal Breds to face open company.....looks like a prep to me.
6. Moroccan Sky.....comes in fresh....looks like a herd horse that does not want to pass other horses down the lane....good connection here!
1. Royal Meridian
2. Octane
3. Sequoia Warrior
Longshot In High Regard
$20 place on 1 paid $5.00
ROI $30.00
RACE 2
A 25 G claimer sprinting on the main-track. Position A is not the horse he once was......still at this level....He sould be viewed as a major contender from slightly off the pace. Valkyrie Missile returns back to the track that he likes....the class drop will only help his chances here. The favorite at post time. Dan Hendricks sends out the shipper Drift King....He has been working solid for his debut at this track. Twoatten Tenattwo......always like this one.....He comes in fresh with a new bug boy riding....
RACE 3
A turf sprint down the hill for 25 G`s. Brian Koriner sends out the maiden breaker Elusive Spirit...... looked awesome last race. Three Cuties trained by Paul Aquirre ran a dull race last time out. She has speed and gets a cozy trip down the hill. This field is a modest bunch to say the very best about the race. Plantuim Mine has won down the hill. She is a slight headcase.....for trainer Jeff Mullins....Eswan rides her from the outside post. Huntington Harbor needed her last start....I expect much better performance with a race under her belt. She cuts back in distance and switches to the turf....
Three Cuties
$20 place 7 Paid $4.40
ROI $24.00
RACE 4
A sprint for three year old fillies at a claiming price of 25 G`s.
Backwoods Belle drops again after running in a higher claiming level on the turf. She switches back to where she runs best one the dirt. She looks to be the controlling speed.....Her main rival looks to be the outside filly Silent Sue. She is very talented as you can see by her first two career starts....She was third behind Killer Grace....then broke her maiden running in a short maiden dash.....Solis trains this one....She has never race this low. Mike Mitchell is excellent with droppers and he is very sneaky with horses taking a class hike.... He hikes up I Sense Your Luck in class... A very positive sign to see. Warren´s Morgan looks to finally put it together....She fits with theses. Footnotedisclosure looked very game winning her debut.....She back with friends.....do not take her lightly.
1. Backwoods Belle
Pick Three 5, with 5,7 with 6
Update $19.00
RACE 5
One mile on the turf for three year olds in a 75K maiden claiming race. Kathy Walsh sends out the speedy Late Night Sky who looks to be the controlling speed. He drops down in class for his money run. His speed numbers towers over this field..... I expect very short odds. Bi-Flash exits the race with Risky Rewards.....who was claimed out of the race and won on Derby day. His debut was respectable....bred for the turf....should step up with a race under his belt. Doug O`Neil looks to have a good one with Craqui on the rail. He stretches out to two turns.......bred to run on the turf.....a player that will be overlooked....
1. Late Night Sky
2. Man In Black
3. Craqui
Longshot Bi Flash
Late Pick 4 7 with 4,6,7 with 2,6 , 4,5,6,7
Cost in $12.00
PAID $16.35
RACE 6
A short dash for fillies and mares for the claiming price of 10 Gs`. Big Tsimmis drops from restricted company to face open company.....She looks like the horse to beat in this cheap spot. Filly Power Her comeback race getting second pressing the pace was very respectable. She should press the pace at this short distance. A contender at this level. Si Mar`s Dear adds the blinkers with a series of fast works makes her a contender. Ashabu had to need her last start after last seeing her ar Del Mar. She has speed from the outside post.... a major player that just might be over-looked at the windows.
1. Big Tsimmis
Pick Three 6 with 2 with 4,5,6,7
UPDATE PAID $21.60
RACE 7
The feature race is a optional claiming allowance going the distance of one mile on the turf. The small line-up is....
1. Trucial State......Sadler claimed hin for 50 G`s. He then step him up in class where he won on the turf from off the pace.
2. Achilles.....won his maiden going long which is hard to do.....He posted a big speed figure.....speed monkey`s will like this one.....Talamo re-rides is a major plus.
3. Press Baron......a well bred import making his U.S. deubt......... good breeding......good connections.......... would not be surprise if he ran a big one.
4. War Politics......I underestimated this one......since being claimed by Doug O`Neil he has run four straight respectable races in this barn....will not take him so lightly.....seeking hat trick today!
6. Ransom Canyon.....trained by a very good old time trainer who knows a thing or two about getting horses ready to rumble. He won his debut going long in a big field of ten. Then just got collared at this condition. The winner ran fourth in the Illinois Derby......He looks razor sharp..... watch out!
1. Achillies
2. Ransom Canyon
3. War Politics
Longshot Press Baron
RACE 8
A five furlong maiden claimer at 30 G`s. ends Thursday`s card.....Peter Miller shortens up Run For Miles....showed speed going longer.....cuts back in distance.....Major player with experience. Walther Solis sends out the first time starter Hidden Quest......sire hits at 20% first time out.....looks like a runner here! Alworth drawn outside faces other speed.......should be able to stalk the speed.....drops from 50 to 30.......He looks to break his maiden in the nightcap.....Mr. Newton looks to rounding into form. He has speed and any improvement makes him a contender.
1. Alworth.....drops for money run
2. Run For Miles
3. Hidden Quest and Dr. Nip
Longshot Mr. Newton
$20 place on 6
Paid $4.80
ROI $28.00
