A maiden claiming sprint for Cal-bred fillies. Natalie`s Academy comeback race was respectable....She has tactical speed.... She warrants respect as Bejarano re-rides her. Carla Gaines is good with second time starters.......Daze should move forward...Sting N Stella......I like the pedigree and her morning works.....She needs to clear from the rail....Her two year old debut was good at a higher level.

RACE 2

Seven furlongs in The Warren`s Thoroughbreds Stake race. Baffert sends out the comebacker Sparking Style who won her debut at this track. Ultra fast works suggest she should fire right off the bench. Mike Mitchell sends out Carrie Rose who should get a good pace scenario with a ton of early speed in the lineup.

RACE 3

The B Thoughtful Stakes at seven and one half furlongs. The speed looks to be Sister Kate.....Halo Dolly should get a good trip from slightly off the pace. Going For A Spin wins races and likes this track.... I think A Jealous Woman will take to the cushion track after running on the turf....She cuts back in distance which should help her....She is razor sharp and will be overlooked at the windows.

The Alphabet Kisses Stakes at six and half furlongs.....on the cushion track....Both Harris Farms first time starters look live... This Means War good pedigree bred by Harris Farms and trained by a under-rated trainer Dean Pederson......Scary Fast trained by Gaines.....Warren`s Internet looked OK in her debut.... should improve.....  Marty Jones sends out the Cee Tzzy filly Tiz A Bud..... a tough race....Sea`s John Spirit was bet down in her debut like she was the second coming....then improve in her second start.....third start....

The Grey Memo at seven furlongs on the cushion track. Pulpit`s Express ran like a horse that was over his head in the  Echo Eddie stakes...... back with friends in this race..... Memphis should like the pace set up..... He won his debut at this track. Dean Pederson sends out Panettone......horse on my watch list.... He`s Very Rare and Caffeine High both fit with this group....

 The grade one winner Willa B Awesome is the class of this race. Starlight Magic beat her last year.... she tries to turn the tables on her today.....I have been impressed with Starry Skies..... she gets on a new surface and goes long.....She is very talented.

A turf sprint for 32 G`s...... Streakin Mohican goes first off the claim for Bill Spawr..... fresh and gets Bejarano to ride.....looks tough and warrants respect with this field. A horse that has been on my watch list......been a underacheiver is My Summer Slew who loves this track.. Bertran Hill drops in class....he looks scary if he is fit....Cerin has been red hot of late...

RACE 8

One mile and a eighth in The Snow Chief......the only stakes winner in this field is Stoney Fleece.......the best horse that gets the bad post with the tricky distance and gets on the cushion track for the first time........a short price favorite. Real Conundrum has the sprint style to relish the longser distance....will be closing if he takes to the cushion track. Unusual Heatwave tries the cushion track. He should like the added distance. This is a weird race where a number of horses go long......or are maiden`s or get on the cushion track for the first time....

RACE 9

The Tiz Now Stakes at seven and a half furlongs....I liked how both Mobilized and Italian Rules came back and won....this is a tough cast of salty characters.....It looks like Joy Boy will set the pace.....He cuts back in distance..... do not just dismiss him....He is talented! Talamo climbs off Joy Boy to go to M One Rifle who adds the blinkers..He likes this track! He warrants respect for the win.

 The distance is a concern with Itialian Rules.....just might be wrong...add in exotics.
