This weekend at the great race place......the Grade 1 Santa Margarita on Saturday then on Sunday the feature race is the Grade 2 San Luis Rey.....

Take note that Ellafitz seeks fourth straight stakes win .....in the Santa Margarita.......in which she was never headed. News she that she is doing better heading into this race....




Horses to Watch....... I just watched the video of Jerry Hollendofer´s three year old Nonios....... looked awesome winning at Golden Gate.......fun to see this young one climb the class ladder........He is two for two....... Tab Nonios on yout watch list....!!!

I picked the import from South American as my longshot pick....She faced a modest field.....but how she won was very impressive......tracking the pace then kicking clear turning for home.....in a fast time.....A.C. and Victor Espinoza teamed up for this win.


Watch list horses.....Drysadale sends out the first time starter Achilles.....very talented.....beating a strong field of maidens.
