A really tough card today....7th thru 10th.... races I like to see.... I will do a late pick four .....In the feature race I will single Sanagas...hope he wins... no mortal lock.... He looked ultra sharp last time out at Hollywood Park.... Maybe a pick three starting in race 7th, 8th and the feature race 9th. A late daily double 4 with  8.


RACE 1

A 20 G claiming race on the main track. First off the claim for Jack Carava. He looked good beating lesser..... He should get a good jump stalking right behind the speed. He goes from route to sprint. Maui Mark is the speed..... come catch...might just wire this group. Cardiff Giant drops big time and switches surfaces to the main track. Position A has hit the board 50 % of his races.

RACE 2

Starter Allowance on the turf at a longer distance of one mile and a eighth. Last Sting a mare facing the guys...had a trouble trip.....She has a excellent turn of foot. Siberian Rush switches to the red hot Mullins barn...Switches or gets back to the turf.... expect much better. A Little Hot Sauce faces winners..... should be a factor from slightly off the pace. No really rabbits in this race except maybe Clearance Clarence who takes off the blinkers.... He should be a major factor from gate to wire. If Last Sting gets a trouble free trip....she looms the one to fear with her fast turn of foot.

RACE 3

A talented field of three year old maidens going one mile on the main track today. Baffert again has two talented maidens .... Bodemeister and Stirred Up. Both should love the added distance... Bodemeister press a fast pace getting second to American Act.  Stirred Up finish second  full of run....look out! Welter Weight finish behind Consulado who ran into Fed Biz this week....He was slightly stopped then re-rally to get second..... Just Tripping has a route race under his belt in his turf debut. He walked out of the gate then made a big move down the backstretch before fading to sixth.....A difficult route debut...expect much better second time around.

RACE 4

A low level claiming route race on the main track. Hard to trust anyone in this field. The speed looks to be Moraganouska with Chatel winging it out on the front end. A player if no-one goes with him. All My Chips should be stalking the speed after his win last time out....Contender! Elusive Schemes had to need last start since October.....disappointing comebacker! Maker has not won in eons but has speed in a race with suspect speed... Pedroza will hustle him out of the gate fast. Mitchell sends out El Merito....expect major improvement at a shorter distance... Talamo rides...

A luke/warm pick...do not trust anyone here!

RACE 5

A turf maiden race for three year olds going one mile. I always like this pedigree second time out on the turf....Askra...Dynaformer and Kingmambo.... She walked out of the gate in her debut then finish Full of run.... Sadler has put three solid works into her since debut. More importantly Rosario re-rides her. Music Thunder ran into Eden´s Moon ...She ran in the same race with Conjure....Music Thunder will gun it early....She will try to steal this race on the front end.... I like the forty niner pedigree.... on the turf coupled with the fact that she has a one mile race under her belt....Major contender at six to 1 morning line. Love Stealer is another filly with speed.... She will press the pace with Music Thunder....any improvement makes her a contender. Conjure will stalk the pace from slightly off the pace...a player. A high price filly that ran a respectable debut is Antrim´s Legend..... a difficult distance to win first time out....She was hammered down by the bettors in her debut...... beware!

RACE 6

Three horses exits the race with Cloud Top and Congrats Ski....A key maiden race where a number of winners have come out of this race and won.... Congrats Ski yesterday......Ron Burgundy, Cruxus and Baffert´s horse on the far outside post Visible Marq exits this race.... These horses need to catch Mr. Padres turning for home..... favorite at post time.

RACE 7


A tough down the hill turf allowance race...... Farmer Giles is a tough dude who has run down the hill before against tougher.... two years ago.... but do not dismiss him because of the level he has beaten up north... Martin claimed him.... very good off the claim....Cranky Jack adds the blinkers... two back was a very good looking win.... bounce back x factor horse here...Nextdoorneighbor is coming back fresh....blinkers come off. He is training very good in the morning time according to the clockers.... Tab the hot trainer and jockey angle here.... I really like these long works... Check them out.

RACE 8

Pink Lollipops exits a key maiden race where two have come back and won.... She got a high speed number....a talented filly from the Baffert barn. Hout Bay ran into a buzz saw in which she had to need her last time...She ran like a short horse..expect better. There Is No Limit ran on the turf with a very talented mare La Sombre.....I picked her to hit the board at 50 to 1 odds... There Is No Limit a longshot here is in form...wheeled back very quickly to run on the dirt.... If she does not bounce.... this mare has a shot from off the pace. Pincelada likes this track and draw a line thru her last race as she ran like a short horse that needed a tighter... expect this time around a better performance. Spectacular Sky the favorite last time...failed.... She beat Pink L....in her maiden win... The X factor bounce back horse. Moonstruck Maya has speed and has clocked some ultra fast morning works. Sadler has two live horses here.... Maya and Hout Bay....Rosario rides Hout Bay.....

Candy Sweetheart goes from inside to outside and adds the blinkers.... I will try to beat him with Joburg Star...adds the blinkers and gets a weight break for trainer Peter Miller.... late double with trainer Peter Miller maybe in the mix. Father Pabst might be the speed here... a contender.
